Die Spree ist ein Fluss der durch Berlin fließt. An dessen Ufer gibt es so viel zu entdecken. Es liegt hier auch das Regierungsviertel.
The Spree River is a River that flows through Berlin. There is so much to discover on its banks. It is also home to the Government District.
It is a simple picture of the village where I was born in Portugal named Vista Alegre where remains one of the most famous porcelain factories.
Time runs and people change, and today some old worker homes as well as other century-old buildings are about to be demolished...

Não havendo, na altura cura para este mal, era a prevenção a única arma de que se dispunha. Assim sendo e devido ao facto de a fábrica da Vista Alegre ter muitos trabalhadores oriundos desta região, foram criados dois pontos por onde, obrigatoriamente, passavam todas as pessoas e onde, para além do banho e desinfecção com criolina ... mudavam de roupa. Um dos pontos era esta casa, o outro o palheiro onde hoje se encontra o ... Palheiro. Assim se conseguiu que a doença não dizimasse a nossa gente."

The Deschutes (deh-Shoots) River is a major tributary of the Columbia River. The river provides much of the drainage on the eastern side of the Cascade Range in Oregon, gathering many of the tributaries that descend from the drier, eastern flank of the mountains. The Deschutes provided an important route to and from the Columbia for Native Americans for thousands of years, and then in the 19th century for pioneers on the Oregon Trail. The river flows mostly through rugged and arid country, and its valley provides a cultural heart for central Oregon.
I'm not exactly sure where this was taken, as this particular stretch of river is somewhere up in the mountainous region going toward Tatamagouche.
It felt like we were traveling an old mountain logging road for a while.
