It's called a "Nobbly Bobbly" and I saw them today in the supermarket - It takes me back to being a kid and I had to buy them along with a packet of "Fabs." :-)

 

Strobist info - This could be the start of a new thing - Speed-strobism! Trying to adjust 2 lights and a reflector before the damn thing melted away.

Sometimes you can't collect light without collecting a little darkness.

 

It gets dark so early now. The kind of dark that makes you want to be inside where it's glowing and warm. The kind of dark that makes you want to wrap up tight. The kind of dark that makes you want to curl up inside the crook of someone warm.

 

It's not always such a bad kind of dark, when you collect light.

The fog returned yesterday, and it cooled everything down a few degrees. Some of the fog seems to have seeped into my head, too. A little tired and quieter, after the big burst of sun we had.

 

Big scarves and fingerless gloves are most necessary when using Land Cameras at The Bulb for shots of the foggy bay.
