Ok .. so it's already been a crazy week for me, and it's just Tuesday.
I decided today that I'm going to try to bike in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, which is a two day event from Louisville to Lexington and back (about 150 miles I'm guessing). Now I just need to find a team to join or raise $2500 .. or something like that. Guess I have some reading to do, whenever I have time that is.
Good thing I bought myself an awesome road bike last year .. =) Yea .. that's why I did that .. ::cough cough:: ..
Any cyclists out there? I need some training buddies .. :o)
This, or something similar, was part of my 'goals' for 2009. They included running the PJ 10 miler and Mini Marathon again, in addition to adding at least a 100 mile bike ride to my list of accomplishments for the year. When will I have to train? Yea .. I'm not quite sure about that actually ..
To make matters worse, tomorrow is the start of Lent (yes I'm Catholic people, quit freaking out .. lol). I'm going to tweak my diet (not 'diet' but my eating habits .. i don't believe in dieting, I just believe in living a better life, or something like that..) a bit over Lent and try to lose the remaining 10 pounds that I want to see go away. Good times ..
I call myself self - punishing .. and I wonder why ..
