Our friend Chris Smith (from Smitty's Custom Automotive, Ltd) is piloting the RideTech 48 Hour Corvette at the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association autocross, in Raleigh, NC, this weekend. This 1965 Pontaic Parisienne came in for a full restoration with some custom touches. The car was stripped down to bare metal we replaced the quarters, inner quarters & wheel houses, rockers were repaired floors, trunk floors and all bracing were replaced or repaired. The window set channel was repaired there was extensive rust repair done to the fenders and most panels on the car. A new convertible top was installed. The wheels were replaced with 20" & 22" Coy's 5 spoke wheel. A Custom 2 tone paint scheme was chosen with a custom Route 66 embalm with the color break mimicking the road stripe. A custom interior was installed by Styl'n Stiches. The brakes were upgraded to a dual circuit, with 14" disc brakes in front. A Ride Tech suspension system was installed. This project turned out awesome! The owner takes in on a annual trip down Route 66.

And if you're itching to get back out behind the wheel, then next week’s "Road Trip Cars & Cones" could be just what you need! The 2017 Road Trip starts in Hoover, AL, and includes stops and autocrossing in Nashville, TN, Bowling Green, KY, and Louisville, KY, before wrapping up with a party at the RideTech HQ in Jasper, IN. There are still a few spots available, and organizers will be accepting daily registrations on a first come/first serve basis. This 1965 Pontaic Parisienne came in for a full restoration with some custom touches. The car was stripped down to bare metal we replaced the quarters, inner quarters & wheel houses, rockers were repaired floors, trunk floors and all bracing were replaced or repaired. The window set channel was repaired there was extensive rust repair done to the fenders and most panels on the car. A new convertible top was installed. The wheels were replaced with 20" & 22" Coy's 5 spoke wheel. A Custom 2 tone paint scheme was chosen with a custom Route 66 embalm with the color break mimicking the road stripe. A custom interior was installed by Styl'n Stiches. The brakes were upgraded to a dual circuit, with 14" disc brakes in front. A Ride Tech suspension system was installed. This project turned out awesome! The owner takes in on a annual trip down Route 66.

Tired of seeing a similar look on every other muscle car, Cris fit this 430HP LS3-powered RideTech & Wilwood Disc Brakes-equipped Camaro with 19/20-inch Forgeline DE3C-SL wheels with a relatively narrow outer to create a modern twist and to take advantage of the longer spoke reach of the DE3C-SL wheels.
