Gonna get up, gonna get up

Gonna get up, whoa

Gonna get up, gonna get up

Gonna get up, ooho

And time won't take

My love away

Ooho, ooho, ooho, ooho

You're such a, you're such a

You're such a, you're such a

Hot temptation

You just walk right in

Walk, walk, walk right in and

Ooho, ooho, ooho, ooho

Ooho, ooho, ooho, ooho

Gonna get up, gonna get up

Gonna get up

Thank, thank, thank you, baby

Gonna get up, gonna get up

Gonna get up

Just don't move

Gonna get up, gonna get up

Gonna get up

Thank, thank, thank you, baby

Gonna get up, gonna get up

Gonna get up

Walk right in and

'Cause you ride on time

'Cause you ride on time, ride on time

'Cause you ride on time

'Cause you ride on time, ride on time

Let me tell you, let me tell you

What you do

What you do, what you do to me

You're such a hot temptation

You just walk right in

Walk, walk, walk right in and

Ooho, ooho, ooho, ooho

Ooho, ooho, ooho, ooho

etc...

Black Box is an Italian house music group popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The song spent six weeks at No. 1 in the United Kingdom, ultimately becoming the biggest selling single of the year (1989).

However, their success quickly turned to infamy when it was revealed that Quinol was lip-syncing to the group's actual recorded vocalist Martha Wash, who sang the majority of the songs on the group's debut album Dreamland.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ride_on_Time

Bethan had booked Lucas in for a toddler session with Ride on Time at Madley Park Hall in Witney, so we took them over there, and were allowed to stay as well, which was lovely. I enjoyed chatting to a few of the mums, and the person who runs the business - as well as playing with Lucas, of course! Mike enjoyed a bit of play too :-)

We had lunch at the Como Lounge - the Loungers group who run these venues usually have a good set-up, and this was no exception. Great venue - with totally-opening front windows, so lovely and airy (as much as possible, in the heat!), and very good food. The app ordering and payment system is useful and easy to use too.

Then it was back to ours for Bethan & Mike to have a rest, and Lucas & I to have fun! Happy Birthday, Bethan!

They're staying overnight, as we're taking them to a friend's little girl's birthday party tomorrow, so Lucas will be sharing my double bed tonight - I wonder which of us will sleep the best?!

One of Ice-Bat's favourite songs is the old dance hit "Ride on Time" by Black Box.

Tonight however he was watching the dancing with the stars finale on TV and came up with a new version of the song which he entitled, "Rides on Dimes" which featured a slightly reworked set of lyrics to accompany him jingling around on top of two towers of 10 cent coins.

The number of 'ugly' laughs in the hotel room this week have been great, and with the christmas holidays coming up soon it looks like it's going to be a fun-filled festive period for us all!
