Thousands of protesters have gathered outside a college in Oxford calling for the removal of a statue.
The statue is high on the building opposite, Oriel College and has been there for c100 yrs.
The demonstration is taking place outside Oriel College, University of Oxford, where the protesters are demanding the removal of a statue of British imperialist Cecil Rhodes.
It has been organised by the Rhodes Must Fall Oxford campaign group as one of several nationwide anti-racism protests sparked by the death of George Floyd in US police custody.
The protesters have silently sat down to mark the death of George Floyd at the anti-racism demonstration.
No prizes for guessing where this photo was taken.
