A few weeks ago I had my students make clay gorgets, a type of necklace worn by a native civilization. one of my girls dedicated hers to me. :) (it says Ms C I luv U) she's a loving type in general though.

we have a week off of school! this afternoon we had a party (which of course for the teacher is no party) and at dismissal i required everyone to give me a vacation hug. :)
