The gang of 8. Where should I begin with this...?
I guess first of all, I didn't take this picture. As the story goes I have an architecture and hostel senior from university who opened his own photography studio (check it out!). We decided to take some of my toys down to his studio near my house and snap some pictures of them. I'm glad I brought my MGS figures along. This gang of 8 sure are photogenic individuals...! Anyway, had a memorable afternoon in the studio, learnt alot about professional photography.
Pestering my bro to get MGS4... dang, he just won't spend that 70 bucks! Neither will I... It IS his PS3...!

"I finally understand. I wasn't waiting to kill people, I was waiting for someone to kill me. A man like you. You're a hero." Sniper Wolf
Sniper Wolf is the Iraqi-Kurdish sharpshooter of the FOXHOUND unit, who uses a Heckler & Koch PSG1. Though snipers usually work in pairs, Sniper Wolf works alone.

My first female custom. First time I try a breast implant "surgery" and first time I gave swivel wrist to a custom.
Hope you will enjoy her. Comments are welcome and expected. :)
Day 011/365
"This is the greatest handgun ever made. The Colt Single-Action Army. Six Bullets, more than enough to kill anything that moves."
Still remember it like yesterday. Ocelot's the first boss fight in the game, though he returns again later on to torture Snake. Literally. Admittedly I'd never heard of ocelots prior to playing MGS. Interesting fact, Kojima based the character off Lee Van Cleef best known for his role in Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy.
Metal Gear Solid is a franchise built on a video game series directed and written by Hideo Kojima. Its a modern revival of the espionage genre filled with crazy code names like Solid Snake and Psycho Mantis, lots of explosions and terrorists stealing big robots. Look for the MSG movie coming out in a big way.
IDW Publishing puts out the Metal Gear Solid comic book and does hands-down the best effort at not only putting out a great yarn but keeping true to the story.

Ocelet (Revolver Ocelot) as he appears in Metal Gear Solid 2 & 4 (left) and Metal Gear Solid 3 (right)
This is Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty. He gets one of his arms severed and uses LIquid Snake's arm to replace.
Now, Liquid has taken over his mind (I think?) and he's now the main baddy in "Guns of the Patriots".
Snake! ....Snake!!....SNAAAAKKKKEEEEE!!!
Finally!...Yes, finally! I'm adding a Metal Gear game to this list. I say "finally!" because I've had numerous friends of mine question whether or not I've played the Metal Gear Solid series, and if I'll be including any of them in this nostalgia trip I've rolled out.
Personally there was never any doubt. Metal Gear Solid was an amazing game, and one of the definitive reasons why I was very lucky to have a Playstation 1 to accompany my TV stand along with my Nintendo 64 back when I was in my tween years.
Metal Gear Solid was a total masterpiece for it's time. Great story, great atmosphere, great subtle humour, and great gameplay.
For those like me who've played this great game, then sure enough we've collectively all had our fun playing around with the AI of the enemy guards... had that "what the...!!" moment with Psycho Mantis...been immersed in the game whilst playing in a dark room and literally jumped when a guard unexpectedly "!" saw you... learned how detect laser traps at the cost of some health... and of course we've all been unable to relate to Otacon's fear and thus we laughed when he pee'd himself.
For those that loved MGS1, you really owe it to yourself to play "MGS Twin Snakes" on the Nintendo Gamecube. It's basically MGS1 remastered using the far superior MGS2 graphics and gameplay engine, along with numerous neat little tweaks (Nintendo figurine cameos, new Psycho Mantis references) and the addition of Dog tag collecting.
...and before anyone asks, no I don't smoke cigarettes, it was just an in-game reference for the sake of the photo.
Also, I encourage any MGS fan who hasn't already to have a peep of Gametrailers.com's "Metal Gear Retrospective" from a few years ago. I dig these kinds of video's personally, so surely some other MGS fans will do the same --> www.gametrailers.com/retrospective/?rdir=1#Metal Gear

A rather large and gorgeous scan of the inside of this E3 20001 flyer featuring artwork by Yoji Shinkawa. I couldn't quite get rid of the crease or match up the tones perfectly but it still looks rather amazing.
