Reverse lens macro experiement, hence the haze edge which gives a very soft effect.

18-55mm on camera - reversed 28-80mm - manual setting and focus - handheld. I didn't have any converters, I just held the 28-80 lens against the 18-66 lens. Very awkward but interesting results.

I was fooling around in the lunch room at work today trying to do some reverse lens macro shots. I then started asking people around the table for their rings so I could get those big rocks up close! :P This is the first time I can get good shots with this technique. I think flashing the objects with light helped a lot with that!

Strobist info: SB-800 in SU-4 Mode really close to camera left used nikon foot and lens cap to put the flash on a downward angle. On camera flash had no effect on the shot since I was so close to the watch.

The clad reverse was designed by Richard Masters and sculpted by Joseph Menna. This design completes the phrase from the obverse “I pledge allegiance to the flag… of the United States of America.” The design depicts an American Flag waving atop a high flagpole as seen from the children’s point-of-view from the ground below. The American Legion’s emblem is featured just above the flag. Additional inscriptions are "E PLURIBUS UNUM and "HALF DOLLAR."

Taken with a reversed Olympus 24mm lenswith flash at 1/4 power and f16. This image has been cropped. It is about half the full width (here about 5mm in width)

This is the front of the truck, pointing at me.

What I did was I went into a pitch dark room took all of the film out of the case and cut with a little remaining flipped it over and stuck it back together. No major editing done apart from a little bit on the exposure.
