What could be cuter than a Malayan tapir? Perhaps, a baby Malayan tapir? He looks very dapper, if improbable, in his black and white coat. Like an aardvark crossed with an elephant, wearing a tuxedo. Baby on the other hand, has a delightful pattern of spots and stripes, and like most baby mammals, come complete with big round eyes, and disproportionately big feet. This set of two handheld stuffed tapirs are hand-block printed on linen. Each is backed with a black and white print fabric with a pattern of typewritten text about making crafts. Each is embroidered 'minouette' in red. The adult is about 7 inches long and 5 inches high (18 cm by 13 cm). The baby is about 6 inches long and 4 inches high (15 cm by 10 cm). They are stuffed with cotton-poly stuffing. They are very modern, bold and graphic in black and white with the hint of red.

Testing reverse macro with my new (replacement) 35mm lens. Definitely a challenge to get a good focus.
Here in the Faroe Islands it sometimes can get very windy, with a waterfall in reverse as a result.

This shows how the wedding band and the engagement ring are separate but slip together to be worn as one.
Taken by Louise at my request - through a car window and into the sun, so not the best quality on an iPhone. I can't figure out who the maker is. Battlescooter doesn't appear to be the manufacturer.
Thanks, Louise!
Seems to be a Piaggio MP3 with some add-ons. If so, it's considered a scooter.

“We are product of our past but we don't have to be prisoners of it" - Rick Warren
I thought I made up an awesome quote but then I googled it and found that someone had already said what I was trying to say and better. Thanks a lot Rick. Stealin' my thunder.
Anyways, this shot was kind of fun. I did of lot of different shots of my face to get the right expression. I was doing every shot just looking at the camera but I ended up thinking this (with my head tilted) was the most interesting. I took old photos of me with family or friends and scattered them on the ground (I had a black sheet thing laid out for the black part).
For processing, I found that if I made me black and white, it made for an artsier and neater photo. It put more emphasis on all the photos rather than me...which I wanted.
I used a remote for this and had my tripod upside down/reversed.
Let me know what you think of it.
A reversed 50mm Pentax lens with a piece of PVC pipe attached to it.
Works as a perfect macro lens.
It fits my Fuji F11 lens and works perfectly.
Holding a lens reversed in front of the camera gives you some nice and cheap macro possibilities :-)
