“The Mustang set off a revolution almost to the level of the Model T in terms of making a cool sports car affordable to the average person. When you were driving a Mustang, you were special. You were noticed. You stood out. And today the Mustang delivers the same attributes.”

While the Ford Mustang is my favorite classic car, I usually tend to lean toward the 1964½ to 1969 models as my favorites out of all Mustang models. But, that doesn't keep me from appreciating a beautiful glossy black 1972 Mustang with its longer, bigger body style and more sleek lines. This one was either maintained perfectly or restored beautifully given its flawless appearance!

This old Ford Cab (branded as City Cab on the side) used to be located on Sunset Boulevard next to the Sunshine Day Bar inside Disney's Hollywood Studios. There is still a garage door (seen behind the cab) that reads Cab Garage on it. I think this guy looks a bit like Benny the Cab from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?...what do you think?!?

On a recent trip to Havana I had a couple of late afternoon attempts at panning the amazing vintage cars out there. Slightly different perspective on this one, I like how the front of the car is still in focus.

While the Hemi grabs the spotlight at auctions and shows on most days, magazines fawned over the balanced performance of the 340-powered 'Cuda in 1971. Steve Kelly, writing for Hot Rod Magazine back then, had this to report:
"The 'Cuda 340 is a far better-driving machine than either the 440 or 426 V-8-equipped 'Cudas, and at least equals the performance you might expect from an assembly-line-stock Hemi 'Cuda. Both of the larger engines cost several hundred dollars more, weight is greater, and the cost of operating is a little harder to live with than with the 340. Only the 383 and the 340 'Cuda are fitted with rear stabilizers, which does much to get them around a curve first. The 440 Six-Barrel engine will easily run away from a 340 'Cuda, but not enough so for it to be an easy contest. A 'Cuda 340 is such an appealing supercar that it demands comparison to its foes. This is still a supercar, not a medium-sized 'compact' coupe."

Amazing replica of the #01 General Lee from T.V.'s "The Dukes of Hazzard" (146 episodes from 1979 to 1985) famously driven by cousins Bo and Luke Duke. I could not find any aspect of this car that did not match up to the version seen on television. Great work by the owner or whoever created this new version of the General Lee...
