I am not yet a Xootr owner, but I have tried 2 of their "teleport" equipment - the Swift & the MG.

I will try to write a review on my blog, so stay tune :).

Greetings from the sofa. It's Glee night. It was also supposed to be Guacamole night, as all Tuesday nights are, but, OMG, what terrible avocados I had tonight. I just tossed the whole mess. It was incredibly disappointing.

A piece created for Omnific Assembly's 2007 exhibition "A Minor Collection of Unnatural History"

A Minor Collection of Unnatural History is a unique exhibition of previously undiscovered monsters. The collection consists of 25 previously unknown monsters. Each monster is presented with photographs of them in their natural environment, a short history of the monster itself as well as the monster interpreted in sculptural form by a variety of local artists. Media includes crochet, jewellery, textiles, resin, plush toys, bone, medical instruments and more.

In addition to the monsters themselves, Omnific Assembly is proud to present a collection of tools designed specifically for the collection of scientific data on the monsters and the images and stories have been gathered together and bound into a book which was for sale at the gallery during the exhibition.

Images from the exhibition can be found at www.omnificassembly.com/unnatural.html

So who would have thought that this little passport would hold so much power... you've pretty much gotta walk around with your passport when you first get here, I've used it at the bank, to rent an apartment, to get a library card, you can use it to get a driving licence (haven't yet got my own but Naell informs me that with this, your UK driving licence and 2 coupons from the rice krispies packs you can get one, pretty much for turning up!!!), oh and you obviously use it to get into the country. It really is a passport to pretty much everything. Lets hope I don't lose it!!!

Today was a pretty quiet day.... plenty chatting with folk on something called Whatsapp - if you don't already have it, get it!!! Then a wee spruce around the apartment... then a walk into town to join the city library... pretty impressive - I can borrow music/books/cd/dvd/magazines - have libraries always been like this or is this a new thing because I feel like I've been missing out all this time!! Then off collect my bank card (finally) which doesn't have my name on it... I think this must be incorrect so I'll need to query this? Then a cheeky wee glass of Pinot Gris with Naell..... honestly, we didn't plan to meet up today, we bumped into each other, although I think he might be stalking me???

I'm going to tweek my CV tomorrow morning so I can apply for a 'casual' dietetic post that has been advertised. Then off to the ZOO - how exciting.
