These cheerful retro spike earrings are a combination of 10 mm cabochons and faux turquoise spike beads. As you can see, many different colour-combinations are possible, and I think a display of these earrings would be a great success at - for example - a Christmas market.

This sign is behind a bike shop on Indian School - right as I saw it I knew I wanted to take a picture of it. I didn't do anything special to take or edit it. All I wanted to do was go for a slightly retro feel with a mix of the neon sign with the blue background. Though these colors are accompanied by colors, the picture itself is fairly flat looking which makes the colors pop more and distract from their subjects.
Fun with black and white -- the BW mode on the XSi is pretty fun actually. I grained these up in Photoshop because they were insufficiently oldschool-looking. Back when I did film photography my enlargements were always pretty grainy.
