Made this card for the Paper Smooches Sparks Trend Watch Challenge. I used these Free Digi Stamps Pretty cool right? For me, these are typical retro colors and I think so too about that embossed background, although my friend says that it is typical Japanese......
Another cloudy afternoon on the airport.
Shot with my EOS 550D, single shot to RAW, then created 3 images with different brightness in Canon RAW processing software (DPP) and then used Photomatix for tonemapping. That's all.
Shadows saturation set to minimum (made the retro look), hilight saturation set to high value to get all the colors from the clouds near the sun.

Back home visiting my parents farm and found my mom's old Canon AE-1 Program. It's in terrible condition, completely dusty, but a pretty cool find. Wish it still worked.

I chose this picture because a lot of Japanese products have English text
on them. Some of it is very poetic, even sentimental you might say. This
was a journal you could buy at Daiso and the text on it: "For each person
.There is only one perfect mate The moment we met,Iknew it was you. And you
knew it was me,so if we can never love This way again". They took some
liberties with grammar and punctuation. I'm really curious about what will
happen if "we can never love This way again." .
