About an hour after the TWA arrival, the AirCal retro 737-8 arrives on flight 2253 from Boston, much to the relief of the passengers I am guessing given the weather back there.

Have you noticed how popular Retro is at the moment? Retro clothes from the 1960’s, video games from the 1970’s and music from the 1980’s. Nothing wrong with that at all, but our Tower Slo-Cooker is an original - given to us as a wedding present 26 years ago and still going strong. Here we have Carbonnade of Beef, a Flemish recipe which became very popular in England ... in the 1960’s. Cooking and photograph by me (I’m not telling which decade!) processed in Picnik for that authentic Retro look
Sleigh bells ring are you listening
In the lane snow is glistening
A beautiful sight oh we're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is a new bird
He's singing a song as we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland
Well in the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say are you married we say no man
But you can do the job when you're in town
Later on we'll conspire as we dream by the fire
To face unafraid of the plans that we made
Walking in a winter wonderland
And pretend he's a circus clown
We have lots of fun with Mr. Snowman
Until the other kiddies knock him down
Oh when it snows ain't it filling
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play the Eskimo way
Walking in a winter wonderland
In our opinion, Jolly Ranchers are the most flavorful and mouth-quenching retro sweets that we use to eat growing up. There is wide variety of flavors and textures to choose from. These delicious retro sweets are available as soft gummy candies, fruit chews, lollipops, and even sodas. They come in a variety of flavors, and range from peach to raspberry. Each confection is approximately ½ inches in length and ¼ inches in height. They are manufactured by the Jolly Rancher Company and you can either find these retro sweets online or at your local sweet shop.
