The Abu Dhabi exhibition stand at the 2012 World Travel Market.
Cardboard tube used to make exhibition stands? It's surprisingly strong and versatile - look at Shigeru Ban's work to see it used wonderfully as an architectural component. Abu Dhabi's calligrapher at this year's World Travel Market made himself comfortable at our cardboard tube desk, and the tubes doubled up as a storage device for poster giveaways. We had fun finding other sustainable materials to make up our Abu Dhabi Five Senses Zone - bamboo veneer, recycled glass chunks and Molo's seductive seating elements made from paper.

This holiday, we wanted to do something really special.
Ducduc's Cabana collection, along with an Eames wire mesh chair make the perfect backdrop to show off our holiday spirit! We chose a rich, red fabric for our Cabana Crib and Cabana Armoire (yes, that's fabric peeking out between those slats!), and we accessorized with our favourite ceramic pendent lights by Jim Schatz. Top it all off with some lighted trees and fun toys for a traditionally Modernist holiday window display -- for baby!

We had a white and red window display for the holidays this year, so we wanted to keep that fresh winter-y look inside the store as well. White and natural wood paired with pops of black and red are surprisingly baby-friendly in this season's store displays.
