Want to do dinner at a top tier restraunt before taking in a show at the Opera House, then this one is for you. For the plebs there's plenty of bars and faster food places a short stroll away, not to mention the more vibrant atmosphere and great views.

Restraunt with a great name.

This is an Autumn scene, similar views can be viewed throughout the World. But not now in this location, because it is in a Country ravaged by War

I was lucky to visit Odessa in 2012, lovely people who welcomed both my wife and I with open arms

Let's not forget them, and give all possible help.

What we call the Free World may not be perfect but we are working on it, and it is certainly better than what these men, women and children are having to endure."A living nightmare"

GOD BLESS THEM ALL.

so im sure you guys want to know where this title comes from... well tonight i was at work and it was only like 5 of us closing and no body was in the restraunt and theres this guy who is one of Friendlys fry cooks and hes a very sweet guy but he keeps to himself 99 percent of the time... so we were closing and i was talking and he asked me why i talked so loud.. and i got quiet and i was like.. "Oh i dont know.."

and he said "Well maybe you should keep it down a little.. and i said well thats just how i am.. im sorry i .. i cant help it.. and he said "Oh well nevermind, if thats just how you are you dont need too change the loudness of your voice.. just be yourself..."

and i smiled.. i was like AWWWWH he went from making fun of me- to telling me to be myself! im going to remember this forever.. it really touched me... i dont hear a lot of people saying to just be yourself now -a-days.. so it really meant a lot to me...

( I say a year becuase im moving out in 11 months!) but the sad thing is is that im still not getting the hours i need becuase we /are/ low on money.. so sadly my boss had to cut our hours..:p

One of a pair of statues outside a Thai restaurant in Cambridge.

I had Satay Prawns to start with, then something called Moo Pad King - chosen because of it's name... obviously :-)

A little bit different with the processing today, it must be the Nina affect :-)

I've confused myself with this shot, it's only Tuesday! Oh well, I'll dig something up for Wed.

Although it was sunny it was very chilly.

The old Pilotage Building, now Bill's Restraunt. Possibly the oldest building in the Bay, was used by local pilots operating in the Bristol Channel to pick up their rosters and pay packets.

When we married, we looked forward to having children, two to be exact. A few years later, we had our beautiful and precious daughter. When she turned three, we decided it was time to have another one. Another ONE!! We wanted her to have a sibling.

At our first ultrasound, we were given the most jaw-dropping news ever. TWINS!

So now, we drive a minivan full of carseats. Now, when we go to a restraunt, we require two tables. Now, ours lives are ruled by nap schedules. Now, there are three little people who count on us.

Double the kisses, double the diapers, double the giggles, double the work, double the joy.

We are a family of five.

So tonight i took this at work right after someone made it! they thought i was crazy for taking a picture of a freakin sundae! but i loved how this turned out! *smiles*

Oceanside Beach in Oceanside, California. On April 25, 2024, a restaurant at the end of the pier burned. Plans are to repair the pier and rebuild the restaurant. Part of the pier has opened back up, but the far end of the pier is still fenced off.

so apparently the news ive been hearing is right.. Friendlys is going out of business... i cant imagine a world without Friendlys! ive been going there ever since i was a little girl! Now i work there! what is this world comming too..?

me and my friends at jhonny rockets<3

It's my birthday.

Mom and Dad came to town and we had dinner at a Japanese restraunt Friday night. That was a bit of a big deal (chop sticks and raw fish) for them and I was proud. :)

Saturday I went to the Farmer's Market to look around and get some produce. It's also my cousin Easton's first birthday so I ran home for his party and to pick up my gift from Mom and Dad. I went out to dinner and drinks with friends afterwards (but was bright enough to not take the camera along).

Jason gave me the print that's behind me on the wall for my birthday. It's not really going to live there, but rather in the kitchen (which is great as I haven't done anything to the kitchen since buying the house two years ago aside from taking down the old wallpaper).

Mom and Dad (cause they rock!) gave me a Bogen / Manfrotto 190XB Tripod with 804RC2 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head from B&H for my birthday. Thanks, Terry, for the recommendation!

Just to give you an idea of the size of the Container Cargo ships that come in the harbor, I shot this one as it was passing one of the Ports O'Call Restaurants.

Love the statement ... this is my new motto I think ... might actually post this at work!

Apparently these buzzer things talk to you now (at least at Red Lobster) ... wierd!

love these pink blooms outside the Whitney Restraunt in downtown Detroit.

Mel taking a gander at the menu of the Bexley Heath Green Taverna, just down the road from Susan's house.

We travelled on the national express to Bluewater where Susan met us, and after some wandering we headed back to her home by bus. In the evening we headed out for a meal to celebrate Jason's birthday, and made him tell us what all the food actually was.

A fabulous serveing of cheesecake we shared at an anniversay dinner. Beutiful to see and almost but not quite a shame to put spoon into but then what is good food for. It was amazing . Treat your partner to a special dinner and who knows, love may follow.

Azura is a fairly large ship, with four pools, four key restraunts two exclusive restaurants, and two buffet places to eat.

I was disappointed that the chef served premade bites instead of taking the time to make a dessert from scratch.

"2017 – William Belickis is founder of the exciting, experimental Mistral Kitchen. Born & raised in New York City, Belickis grew up around some of the most diverse food in the world. His first glimpse of the Great Northwest left him awestruck; he found its clean, cool beauty inspiring & soon returned to explore San Francisco, British Columbia, and everywhere in between. After making the move to Seattle, he was a chef Fuller’s & Salish Lodge. In 2000, he opened his own restraunt, Mistral in Belltown. Mistral closed its doors in 2008 so Chef Belickis could work on plans for a new, more accessible & experimental restaurant: Mistral Kitchen."

Prague is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic, and the historical capital of Bohemia. On the Vltava river, Prague is home to about 1.3 million people. The city has a temperate oceanic climate, with relatively warm summers and chilly winters.

Prague is a political, cultural, and economic hub of central Europe, with a rich history and Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architectures. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia and residence of several Holy Roman Emperors, most notably Charles IV (r. 1346–1378).

It was an important city to the Habsburg monarchy and Austro-Hungarian Empire. The city played major roles in the Bohemian and the Protestant Reformations, the Thirty Years' War and in 20th-century history as the capital of Czechoslovakia between the World Wars and the post-war Communist era.[

Prague is home to a number of well-known cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions include Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad. Since 1992, the historic center of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

On our way out I noticed there was some working being done next door. I didn't really care for most of the shots, but I did like this one.
