Photographed at the owner's home on October 6, 2010. This collector in southern Michigan has more than a dozen cars in his collection. My flickr contact Chelsea_Dale and I were invited to photograph some of his cars at his home. We had a lovely afternoon for the outing.

The owner purchased this Mercury almost fifty years ago, and it is his favorite of all of his cars. He has given it some customizing features, such as the blue tinted windows and custom wheel covers.

Very nice car, although I'm not crazy about that two-toning.

This restomod Ford F-1 is just gorgeous and carries a 351 V-8.

Street Muscle Legends - Chapter 3

The Torino Talladega was one of Ford's first forays into producing track-focused homologation models intended to dominate the racing scene. The Talladega changed the muscle car landscape by being the first limited production car to incorporate design changes based on wind tunnel testing into both the silhouette, side rocker panels and front fascia of the car, all leading to significant performance enhancements and legendary status. The PYP garage has been humming along all week to the tune of this beastly hunk of 60's muscle and the smiles just keep coming.

I hope you enjoy!

Have you ever sent it too hard around the track with no recovery in sight?

Worry no more! Phil's on-track repair crew will get you running asap!

I built a Volkswagen T1 Doka restomod. New racing tires & suspension and a little turbo in the back will help get to any mishap on the track as quickly as possible and the larger crew cab (german Doppelkabine > Doka) has enough space for all the tools and various bits & pieces needed for any repair job.

Street Muscle Legends - Chapter 7

Go Dark.

From humble beginnings as a parts-bin discount sports coupe, the first generation Mustang quickly set the standard for the affordable American Muscle Car, going on to sell over 1 million examples in its first three years alone. As popularity grew, there was an increasing customer appetite for more performance-oriented models. The S-Code 1967 Ford Mustang GT Coupe came equipped with a 390 CID V8 big block engine making for a striking coupe with tons of power, personality and style, and this example just got the full PYP restored treatment.

Hope you enjoy!

This very tastefully modified '48 Ford was at the Hennepin, Illinois Car Show, July 4, 2016. The engine is a 394 Olds, circa 1960.

Fun Factor.

I'm back again with another take on the GOAT Kart, the classic Mini Cooper S. Famously way more fun than any spec sheet would suggest, the Cooper S is the very embodiment of the outrageous fun to be had by driving a slow car fast.

This design sits one plate lower than the 2019 TLG design, and thanks to a panel-based floor pan trap inspired by the 4w community, a minifigure can sit a full two plates lower than the TLG model, as low as possible while still being able to secure the roof overhead.

Despite having some light stance and an offset wheel-tire setup, this design rolls smoothly and displays great. 2x6 tiles are used for the roof creating a rear spoiler overhang, and the roof can also be built with no overhang if that look is preferred.

I hope you enjoy!
