I should preface by saying to any of my coworkers who may be reading this (especially you Colin...lol) that this shot is simply expressing my physical unease as of late.
Since changing jobs a few weeks back, my work lifestyle has changed drastically. I used to be on my feet running around to and fro for 8-12 hours a day (and for the better part of the last year, closer to the 12 hour range). Suddenly, I am chained to a desk. There is no going to and fro, apart from the occasional potty break or asking a question of a coworker. Every day, by noon or 1PM, I find myself getting incredibly restless. I can't sit still. I can't get comfortable. I just want to hit that little "Make Busy" button and take off for a while.
I know I'll get used to it again, but seeing as though I've been on my feet working for the past 5 years, it is a very big change to make so suddenly.
Don't get me wrong - I'm an incredibly lazy person! Weekends? I've got my ass glued to the couch or chair for two days and it doesn't phase me. But it's still incredibly foreign for me during a work day.
Today's picture is a visual representation of my "restless legs" I had the idea of taking various shots of me standing still and other with my legs askew like this one and photoshopping them together to create multiple sets of legs on one torso, but it's 10:15pm. I don't feel like frigging around with photoshop to do all of that.
I took a bunch of shots, but ultimately settled on this one because I found it looked rather silly. I like silly.
