This place sticks out on the highway when driving home at night.
My family patronized them (root beer floats) when I was a kid.
Im Zentrum der Kreisstadt Rotenburg an der Wümme, direkt in der Fußgängerzone der alte Stadtspeicher, heute beherbergt er ein allseits bekanntes und beliebtes Restaurant. Im Sommer sitzen die Gäste direkt neben dem Stadtstreek, einem Wasserlauf der in der nahen Wümme endet. Im Vordergrund die Blumen geschmückte Geranienbrücke.
The latest addition to the Williamsburg cafe-restaurant arsenal. Took them months to open, but you can see why; the attention to detail in both the food and the design of the space is outstanding. I had white beans and fennel sausage--one of several daily specials--and tried the brandied chocolate mousse; now that's a lunch. The coffee's good too. The Tea Room is open until 2 AM, 7 days, and is located at the corner of Roebling and Metropolitan.
One of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been to! Highly recommended. www.sushishin.ch/

the restaurant illeta in camp de mar, mallorca, sits quietly during its winter rest. overlooking a gray sea, the wooden structure appears deserted. seaweed and flotsam scatter the beach, and buoys and ropes lie in the foreground, hinting at summer activities now paused.
This was one I submitted as an entry in the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk 2025. I think it was the winning shot for the group I was in, which is no great shakes as it only had four other pictures to compete against, all of them mine! There was a grand total of four people on our little jaunt in central London and, as far as I am aware, none of the other three bothered to submit any pics at all.
Overall, I wasn’t totally happy with any of the pics I submitted, except maybe this one, but what the heck, on an event like this participating and having fun is the name of the game.
Als Restaurant (lat. restaurare = wiederherstellen, auch Restaurantiker) gilt der Anhänger bzw. Befürworter der Restauration. Die Restauranten unterstützen im Allgemeinen die Wiederherstellung eines politischen Zustandes, in der Regel die Wiedereinsetzung einer alten Dynastie, die im Zuge einer Revolution beseitigt worden war.
Gerade im deutschsprachigen Raum gilt Fürst von Metternich als besonders einflussreiche Größe unter den Restauranten. Der hatte es sich nämlich zur Lebensaufgabe gemacht, die liberalen Neuerungen der Französischen Revolution wieder rückgängig zu machen. Vor allem durch verwaltungs- und verfassungsrechtliche Einschränkungen sollte ihm dies letztlich gelingen. Als ebenso berühmter Restaurant gilt auch General Papa Schlumpf. Diesem Geiste folgen auch heute noch viele Politiker auf ihrem Wege hin zur Entrechtung aller Normalsterblichen.
