Nota: "Brujo de la escuela de oso, me ha contado una rubia que llevas una vida muy solitaria, te vengo a hacer compañía y cuando quieras, me puedes dar un abrazo". Ese fue el mensaje que Bri le dejó junto a un osito de peluche que le había comprado y dejado a Eldridge en su caseta, sobre las pieles donde descansaba. Y es que resultaba que la maldita empezaba a conocer mejor al cazador de monstruos y parecía disfrutar de su compañía. Regresando del pozo de pelea, y habiendo recibido una buena tunda de un nuevo contrincante llamado "El Bruto", la luchadora acudía a casa del mutado de nuevo caída la noche. La rubia pensaba que estaba haciendo bien en mantener a Yorindel lejos de los problemas en los que se estaba metiendo últimamente con esos bandidos. Además, no quería que fuera seguida hasta la posada y descubrieran donde se alojaba. Ya aseada y cambiada se dirigía hacia la caseta iluminada por una hoguera. Estaba sumamente dolorida y caía sobre la arena de la costa al tropezar. Eldridge se asomaba y no le echaba ninguna mano, quería ver de que pasta estaba hecha Bri y esta al final se internaba en la casa del brujo para sanarse y de paso cenar.

[14:28] Bri se giraba para mirar a Osito y volvía a sonreír encantada de haber acertado con el detalle —¿Nunca te hacen regalos?— preguntaba mientras gruñía por el escozor antes de responder respecto a la pelea que había perdido —Claro que no ha sido en vano, es más estuve durante una semana entera visitando el pozo de incógnito para ver quienes peleaban y cómo se movían, justo antes de lanzarme a pelear con El Cuervo, pero este contrincante lo han sacado nuevo, antes no estaba— aseguraba con convicción antes de verlo incorporarse y sorprenderse cuando le quitaba la gasa y le subía la camiseta—¡Q-qué haces!— se quejaba asustada antes de sentir el escozor en las zonas donde no había llegado por si misma —Ay ay aaaaay— pero ahí la mandaba estarse quieta y comer. La luchadora enmudecía sin poder creer que Eldridge le estuviera echando una mano, aunque era más aterrador pensar que era la primera vez que tenía a un brujo tras ella, subiéndole la camiseta y exponiendo su espalda a su merced. Espadazo de plata y era su fin.—¿Hoy toca liebre?— preguntaba intentando disimular la tensión mientras tomaba el palo con la liebre y daba un fuerte bocado a la carne torrada. En realidad tenía hambre, pero estaba muy tensa y Eldridge podría notarlo en cómo se había quedado ciertamente rígida.

[14:37] Eldridge de Aedirn negaba en relación a la pregunta sobre si le hacían regalos antes de colocarse tras Bri para ayudarla, pasando la gasa con alcohol por las heridas de la espalda. Eldridge retomó la conversación que estaban teniendo – “Bien hecho” – premiaba a la exsoldado por la estrategia de estudiar a sus rivales – “No te quejes tanto, si eres valiente para ponerte en el pozo has de ser valiente para lamerte las heridas” – afirmaba – “Sí, hoy toca liebre. La cacé esta misma tarde” – el mutante pudo notar la rigidez en el cuerpo de la rubia, parecía tensa como una piedra, los músculos en tensión, hombros cargados, parecía estar apretando todos sus músculos – “¿Quieres relajarte?” – después de limpiar bien las heridas colocó poco a poco la camiseta en su posición natural, tapando su espalda y palmeaba con suavidad los hombros de la mujer – “Intenta relajarte, estas más tensa y dura que mi polla cuando estoy cachondo. Solo te he pasado la gasa por la espalda” –.

[14:48] Bri fruncía el ceño cuando el brujo le daba lecciones, claro que sabía cuando retirarse de un combate, bueno no, realmente era demasiado competitiva. Eso era culpa del granjero, su entrenador en el pasado le desafiaba constantemente y de ahí que sacara esa vena competitiva y siempre estuviera un paso por delante —¿C-como quieres que me relaje?— exclamaba con la boca llena de carne antes de suspirar con alivio y destensarse al notar la tela bajar de nuevo, pero de pronto el mutado soltaba todo eso de estar más dura que ¿Su polla estando cachondo? ¿De verdad había escuchado bien? Los alimonados ojos de Bri se abrieron como platos y lo miraron negando —¿Cómo puedes ser tan cerdo?— se quejaba antes de darle con el palo ya sin liebre, sosteniéndola de una pata con la mano.

Originally the buyers did not follow through on these provisions, but because of diligent work by Rachel's children and their lawyer, the courts have now declared that Seven Canyons must comply

Imagine the pristine beauty due west of Sedona with nothing but magnificent red rock formations in all directions. For many years, residents of Sedona were allowed to use a very special place in this extraordinary area. It was found on private property in the Long Canyon area and was owned by a woman named Rachel. She purchased this beautiful land, piece by piece, in the early 1970s and then made it available to the residents of Sedona, and all people from around the world.

Her property was perched high above the Long Canyon valley on a knoll which was later to be known as Rachel’s Knoll. To access her property one had to walk about half a mile meandering up a dirt road allowing ample time to experience and honor the drama and magical beauty of the land. Once on the knoll, one would find medicine wheels, seating areas, trails to guide you around to the meditative areas plus one of the most extraordinary red rock views in Sedona.

This land was most sacred to the Native Americans in the area and was used by them for centuries for their ceremonies and inspiration. Rachel knew when she entered this sacred place that it would be her goal to save it for all people so they might enjoy and honor the Native Americans who once lived there.

De grote stinkzwam komt met behulp van een eiertand uit een 3–6 cm grote knol die in de volksmond met heksen- of duivelsei wordt aangeduid.

Daaruit strekt zich in enkele uren de 10–20 cm lange poreuze en holle steel. De hoed van de paddenstoel is dan met een groene slijmerige sporenlaag (gleba) bedekt die een zeer penetrante aasgeur verspreidt, zelfs tegen de wind in te ruiken. De stank trekt vliegen en kevers als de oranje aaskever aan die voor de verspreiding van de sporen zorgen. De schone hoed is wit tot lichtgeel en heeft een kleine opening aan de top. De zwam lijkt dan wel op morieljes.

De sterke geur doet niet vermoeden dat deze paddenstoel ook eetbaar is. De steel van jonge exemplaren van de grote stinkzwam is eetbaar; naarmate hij ouder wordt neemt het psilocainegehalte toe waardoor hij te giftig wordt voor consumptie. Het heksenei, ontdaan van de sporenlaag, wordt gebakken opgediend en geldt in sommige culturen als afrodisiacum; dit vanwege de uiterlijke overeenkomst van het volwassen exemplaar, met het mannelijk lid. Deze veronderstelde werking is echter nooit aangetoond.

IThe large stink fungus comes with the aid of an egg tooth from a 3–6 cm large tuber, which is popularly referred to as witch's or devil's egg.

The 10–20 cm long porous and hollow stem extends from this in a few hours. The cap of the mushroom is then covered with a green slimy spore layer (gleba) that gives off a very pungent carrion odor, even smelling against the wind. The stench attracts flies and beetles such as the orange carrion beetle that spread the spores. The clean hat is white to pale yellow and has a small opening at the top. The fungus then resembles morels.

The strong smell does not suggest that this mushroom is also edible. The stem of young specimens of the stinking fungus is edible; with age, psilocaine levels increase making it too toxic for consumption. The witch's egg, stripped of the spore layer, is served fried and is considered an aphrodisiac in some cultures; this because of the outward similarity of the adult specimen with the male member. However, this supposed effect has never been demonstrated.

Situado à beira do Rio Nervión, em Bilbau, Espanha, o Museu Guggenheim caracteriza-se pela fusão de complexas formas curvilíneas e uma materialidade cativante, respondendo a um programa extenso e um contexto urbano industrial. Com mais de uma centena de exposições e mais de dez milhões de visitantes, o Museu de Frank Gehry não só mudou a maneira que os arquitetos e o público pensam sobre museus, mas também impulsionou a economia de Bilbau com o seu surpreendente sucesso. De fato, o fenômeno da transformação de uma cidade após a construção de uma peça arquitetônica significativa é agora referida como o "Efeito Bilbao". Each time a parent brought food to this brood of fledged Tree Swallows, the first to spot the incoming delivery wound up getting the goods. In this case it was the second bird from the left. On Armand bayou.

One of the most important occupations a red truck could ever have, looks like a minor fire had just been taken care of by a volunteer Fire Department in this scene somewhere in California.

I am assuming that the “E” in the oval on the yellow license plate designates either “Emergency” or possibly “Exempt” ?, and that these plates would have been valid on Fire Trucks for many consecutive years.

And once again no information at all on this Kodachrome slide mount, I had tried to at least identify the town or city by the Realtors business name on the building but to no avail – But we can say that its 1:15 in the afternoon though !

My best guess on the year of this photo based on the equipment, apparel and overall look of the scene would be the early 1960s.

I sure do like those clean, bright red Fire Trucks !, a 1948-50 Ford over on the left and a handsome 1942-47 Dodge right up front.

De Belgische vlag (Abutilon megapotamicum) is een plant uit de kaasjeskruidfamilie (Malvaceae). Het is een tot 2 m hoge struik met dunne, overhangende twijgen. De plant heeft afwisselend geplaatste bladeren, die 5-10 x 2-3,5 cm groot zijn. De bladeren zijn vanuit de hartvormige basis smal driehoekig toegespitst of soms zwak drielobbig en hebben een grofgezaagde rand. De steunblaadjes zijn tot 1 cm lang en tot 0,4 cm breed.

De bloemen groeien solitair of in paren in de bladoksels. Ze hangen aan 2,5-6 cm lage stelen. De rode, tot 3 cm lange kelk is in het knopstadium hartvormig en heeft later gevleugelde uiteinden. De kroonbladeren zijn lichtgeel tot oranje en steken 1,5 cm ver uit de kelk. Midden in de bloem bevindt zich een 1,5 cm lange zuil met daarop vele, donkerpaarse meeldraden met gele helmknoppen. De vruchten zijn vijfdelige doosvruchten, waarvan de delen elk apart opengaan en twee tot zes zaden bevatten

De Belgische vlag is afkomstig uit het zuiden van Brazilië. De soort wordt veel als sierplant aangeplant, ook in België en Nederland.

The Belgian flag (Abutilon megapotamicum) is a plant of the mallow family (Malvaceae). It is up to 2 m tall shrub with thin, pendulous twigs. The flowers grow solitary or in pairs in the leaf axils. They hang from 2.5-6 cm low steal. The red, up to 3 cm long calyx is in the bud stage heart-shaped and has later winged ends. The petals are pale yellow to orange and stabbing 1.5 cm away from the chalice. In the middle of the flower is a 1.5 cm long column showing many dark purple stamens with yellow anthers. The fruits are five-piece capsules, which open the parts separately and contain two to six seeds

The Belgian flag is from the south of Brazil. The species is widely planted as an ornamental plant, in Belgium and the Netherlands.

I\'ve kept these patches for all these years, the middle one, Panama Red is used, saved from an old pair of my jeans. I saw the same patch, also used, on Ebay going for $38, which, back in the 70s as I recall, was about the price of an ounce of the promoted product.

To get this effect you need to be willing to get out into the deeper and faster moving incoming waves with the camera very low to the water. It's like playing chicken with the ocean.

When we walked across the street, we saw the fire engine stop by the roadside further up the street on our right. There were a couple of kids with bikes and one must have fallen down and got hurt. CSX #911, the "Spirit Of Our First Responders", works through the curve at Snow Road with Grand Rapids-Detroit freight L303. Thankfully was able to fire off a few shots before the rain let loose.

A couple years ago, a friend of mine was asked to assemble a band for certain event, and I was the guitar guy. It was assumed, I suppose, that the band would take care of all the details of the music. And boy, was this a band. I know it sounds suspicious, coming from a member of the band, but this was as hot as they come.

But when it all came to pass, the awesomely hot band simply served as the backup band for a "lead singer" as it were. This was a surreal juxtaposition of talent and musical styles. An experimentation in musical opposites, if you will.

When it was all said and done, a VIP who was in the audience said to me, "that was like watching a Maserati drive in a parking lot. I responded, "it hurts my motor to go so slow."

Sunday morning when I saw this 'vette cruise into the parking garage and park facing this block wall, I remembered that comparison and chuckled to myself.
