The Yellowhammer is a brightly colored passerine bird. The male in nuptial plumage sports a yellow and reddish plumage of the most beautiful effect. This species is known for its song described locally by several words which only remind the rhythm and are only a pale imitation of the real sound emitted by the bird.
The Yellowhammer is widely distributed across most of Europe, with some populations partially migratory or dispersive after breeding. It frequents cultivated areas and wooded pastures, forest edges and heather moors.
The Yellow Sparrow is threatened by habitat destruction and its population appears to be declining, but currently the species is not globally threatened.
Image taken behind a camouflage net and in a natural environment.

It is very appreciated, as you have noticed, I no longer respond directly to your comment just to say in fact "thank you and have a good day", but in return I will leave a small trace with you on one or more of your editions.

Mr. Softee Ice Cream respond team for the people who scream for Ice Cream!.
Thank you for your visits and comments!.
Things are as ever slowly changing..
My illness that is now being treated with double beta blockers is not yet responding well and some of my ordinary PVCs have changed to interpolated PVCs which can eventually lead to Cardiomyopathy with severe and chronic anxiety being the root cause.
I don’t have control over my anxiety and Flickr is just one thing I can leave off at least. I have had some lovely mails asking me to just take a break then come back and believe me they are so heartwarming and mean more than you will ever know.
The place I am at now is to still leave my account open as it is paid up until April 2024. Comments for new photos are turned off and shall remain off as I am too unwell to leave comments as they take me ages to formulate and I get so tired and stressed.
I intend flooding my Flickr account with photos from my two previous Flickr accounts as I get a better idea of whether I myself consider them worthy of uploading to my new online account with a couple of online accounts instead of mixed with thousands of other photos on my PC

I shall hopefully start to fave but not be commenting on photos on Flickr as I not well enough to at the moment but I haven’t given up on getting better although I am unsure how…
I wish everyone well and am still browsing all your wonderful inspirational photography !

Lily of the valley
The flowers and roots are processed by the pharmaceutical industry, as they can affect heart function. In old writings from the 16th century it can be read that this knowledge was already known at that time. The dried flowers were also added to snuff.
In France and Belgium, it is customary for children to buy lilies of the valley for their mother and grandmother on May 1.
No essential oil can be extracted from the flowers. Because the fragrance is very popular in perfumery and cosmetics, it is composed using fragrances such as hydroxycitronellal.
The lily of the valley is Finland's national flower.
All parts of the lily of the valley are poisonous due to the presence of various cardiac glycosides and saponins.
The most common symptoms after ingestion are vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain, for which the saponins are responsible.

Egg Rock Light, Acadia national park, maine
Egg Rock Light is a lighthouse on Frenchman Bay, Maine. Built in 1875, it is one of coastal Maine's architecturally unique lighthouses, with a square tower projecting through the square keeper's house.[2][3][4] Located on Egg Rock, midway between Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Peninsula, it is an active aid to navigation, flashing red every 40 seconds. The light was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Egg Rock Light Station in 1988.[1]
The Egg Rock Light Station consists of two buildings, a combination light tower and keeper's house, and a fog station building. The keeper's house is a roughly square 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame building, with a hip roof pierced by dormers on all four sides. The painted brick tower, 40 feet (12 m) high, rises through the center of the house.[5] The light is a VRB-25 aerobeacon, mounted in a 1986 replacement lantern house. It is configured to flash red every 40 seconds.[6] The fog station is a brick structure southwest of the main building, with a gable-on-hip roof.[5]
Egg Rock Light
The Egg Rock light originally was fitted with a fifth-order Fresnel lens. The fog station (originally steam-powered) was added in 1904. The station was automated by the United States Coast Guard in 1976, at which time its ancillary structures except the fog station were torn down. The lantern house was removed and the light was replaced by the present aerobeacon. After public protest, a replacement lantern house was installed in 1986. The light continues to be managed by the Coast Guard, and is not open to the public; the island and buildings are owned by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.[

View of the Buda Castle, the old royal palace, is a historic castle complex in the Hungarian capital Budapest. The complex is located on the Burchtheuvel (Várhegy), the old city center Buda at 70 meters above the Danube.
Buda Castle is located on the Buda side of the city. This old royal palace that dates back to the 13th century was for years the home of the kings of Hungary. But the palace did not remain unaffected. For example, it was badly damaged during the invasion of the Turks and during the Second World War. Due to the various reconstructions, it underwent a number of major style changes. The palace now houses the Hungarian National Gallery, the national Szechenyi library and the Budapest Historical Museum.

the castle of Parga, built on a rock northwest of the town around 1450. Built by the Venetians and destroyed by the Ottomans in 1571. It even destroyed a second time and eventually rebuilt by the Venetians.
The castle of Parga has an architecture with polygons (polygon). The defense of the fort was supported by eight towers out elsewhere in the landscape. Main entrance, recognizable by the big arch, located on the southwest side of the castle. The fort is free to visit and you have a wonderful view of Parga and the islands off the coast. Upstairs is quite a climb from the port, but you walk past shops and cafes.

It was fascinating watching these two energetic Sheep Dogs, rounding up this flock high above the village of Consitone.
They were responding to a series of whistles and calls and expertly shepherding the sheep down from the upper fells to the gate the farmer had opened lower down here, leading to the valley pastures.

Painting the porcelain is a precise work that must be done right in one go,
at the slightest mistake it is rejected that is then for own account,
in other words if you do three plates well in one day you will be paid out,
if not one product is successful, you will not get any money for that day either
your monthly wage depends on the work you do
