SAGINAW— On Sunday, Oct. 5, faithful gathered at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw, where the Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw, celebrated the annual Respect Life Mass. Respect Life Sunday marks the 42nd anniversary of the Respect Life educational program in the Diocese of Saginaw. The program was started by the Catholic bishops of the U.S. in October 1972. The Respect Life Mass allows an opportunity for the Church to focus on life issues.
A little behind schedule but this wasn't even taken on the 20th. So neener.
I always get a little chill when shooting Kabukicho touts since they make a bigger fuss about photos. In fact, seconds after I took this photo and went for a front shot, the guy barked something incomprehensible yet clearly peppered with the beautiful F word.
HIGHER BLACKLEY RESPECT ACTION WEEK
You said; You are concerned about Youths congregating and behaving anti-socially on the streets, misuse of off road bikes and burglary in the area.
As a result; Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team, Manchester City Council, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, and Northwards Housing held a Respect Action Week between 10th – 14th August 2009.
During the Week;
•A multi-agency team litter picked Cooper Lane Park and the surrounding streets
•Community Payback teams worked at Blackley Cricket Club
•Extra Foot patrols were carried out in your area during the evenings
•Youth Contact Team Officers targeted Outreach work on Friday until 9pm
•A Home Watch recruitment meeting was held at St Paul’s Church where residents received free safety devices, information and packs about the scheme
•Licensing Enforcement & Environmental Enforcement Officers visited and checked a number of shops in the area
We will continue to combat the issues that are of most importance to you. We have started Operation Sodium to tackle off road bikes nuisance in the area.

The STS-107 Mission Patch is hung inside the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). I can imagine this reminds everyone working in the building why exacting attention to detail is important in everything that is done in that building.
