Since 2013, Young Africa Namibia has promoted green skills development and specifically green building technologies at their centres in Otjiwarongo and Walvis Bay.

Vocational training and small enterprise development for green building technologies allows underprivileged young people and small entrepreneurs to participate in and benefit from economic opportunities. Through this, economic productivity and employment in green building technologies increases, together with socio-economic development through increased awareness and acessibility of sustainable energy and resource utilisation.
