The Hamilton Anti-Racism Resource Centre, the Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion, the Hamilton Public Library, the Concession Street Business Improvement Area, and the City of Hamilton held a response to racism announcement at the Concession Street library following racist vandalism of the heritage plaque on February 5 at the library. The plaque depicts Hamilton Mountain’s early Black community.
