Members of the Continuum of Resource Education (CORE) Hawaii's CO/XO Leadership Continuum came together at Commander Submarine Force U.S. Pacific Fleet, Rear Adm. Frank Caldwell's residence on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) to discuss emergency preparedness and crisis management, Nov. 8. More than 50 Navy spouses in leadership positions in CORE attended the event and the workshops are held to help them meet the challenges they should face in their demanding positions. On hand were guest speakers Guy Hagi, Hawaii News Now weather anchor, and Dan Dubois, Emergency Management Officer for JBPHH, to educate and inform the spouses on meteorological conditions, storms, emergency planning, preparations and procedures.
