I don't know why I make new years resolutions because I always break them but this one seems different and fun at the same time - taking pictures every week of something I love so much, my son.
I also want to learn how to take better pictures and edit them in PhotoShop/RAW. I am hoping this will bring out some creativity in me.
I also am going to not sweat the small stuff - take life with a grain of salt.
I got some Action packs from M4H for Christmas and have been enjoying playing with them. On this picture I used the action Classic Rock.
I have some other resolutions too, eating right, exercising more, loosing weight and I will try real hard to keep some of those as well. :)

Resolution taped to a door of an abandoned old-folks home.
Part of this place just "burned down" this past weekend. My guess it's the old burn-and-plow solution to no one talking care of their property they abandoned. It will probably be all torn down soon.

My resolution is to try new things with photography--with my new lens, new editing, master black and whites, new settings... And since time was running out, this is really new because it is actually me on the other side of the lens, inside instead of outside, with a new editing process...I am ready for more action in February!

The committee refined and consolidated policy proposals into a set of formal recommendations to be considered by voting delegates during the business session of the Arkansas Farm Bureau State Convention, Nov. 28-30 at the Little Rock Convention Center.
