The Reporter is the student newspaper at Miami Dade College.
It was launched on Oct. 4, 2010, features 16 pages printing on a biweekly schedule, has a circulation of 10,250 per print cycle, and is augmented by a website with video and audio content.
The Reporter is distributed at all eight MDC campuses and has newsrooms at the North, Wolfson and Kendall Campuses.
The paper is a product of the three now-defunct student newspapers at MDC.

Some ground-breaking occurrences on the day of the London bombings are a classic example of how the public and the publishing industry are able to co-operate and collaborate. According to the BBC, roughly "300 photos - 50 within an hour of the first bomb going off - and several video sequences" (Douglas, 2006) were sent to the news service on the 7th of July, 2005. Social media is treated as a source of insight and information by the media, and indeed by most other publishing authorities, as, at times, only the public can provide such encompassing, hands-on and emotionally sensitive content. To suit this changing environment the industry has also morphed - since 7/7 the BBC has a full staff dedicated to interactivity.

Oh jeeze, this guy looked like SUCH a douchebag, even though I'm sure he's a perfectly nice reporter-man. There were a multitude of crews out in the mall that day trying to work things out where they could show the intensity of the crowd. I hope this goofy looking man found his story.
