Extrait de l'exposition "From warsaw with Love". Technique mixte, 120x60.

As well as being spruiked on Yass FM 100.3 and an interview with local ABC to be broadcast state wide, a lovely reporter from the Yass Tribune came out and spent some time with the Nannas.

Today was the much anticipated 24th Annual 'Dancing In The Street' Spring 2016 Fashion Show & Luncheon presented by The Pilot Club of Cullman, Inc.

As you can see in the accompanying photographs, the host venue - the Cullman Civic - was at full floor capacity with right at 450 paid ticket holders.

Pilot club President Peggy Day provided an emotional and stirring welcoming speech. She recalled how this same event, in this same building, exactly five years ago, was somehow conducted and completed between the multiple rounds of tornados in the City of Hanceville, and later in the City Cullman.

The timeless, eloquent and perfectly dressed Pastor Bob Kurtz was the Master of Ceremonies. As one of only 5 men in the entire building, this reporter applauds his ability to effortlessly lead 450 extremely attractive, well-dressed and sophisticated woman through the event without incident, or clumsy male verbal misstep.

Fortunately, the many sponsors of this event provided an unusually large number of door prizes ... so, dozens of attendees walked away with significant gifts of appreciation.

It is believed this was the largest head count for this event since the 1990's. Not that it ever went away, but the 2016 'Dancing In The Street' Spring 2016 Fashion Show & Luncheon returned bigger and better then ever before. The credit for that can go to the 4 dozen or so Pilot Club volunteers; they nailed this event even down to the 45 rpm records with candles on the tables. Nice touch!

The luncheon was catered by Sweet Peppers Deli.
