Hot glued an artist trading card/ art postcard to the front of my reporter moleskine. Then lined the edges in black electrical tape.
The artist whose booth I got this from was Betsy Youngquist, and the name of this freaky/adorable/odd little fellow is "Gomer".

Richard Falk is a United Nations special investigative reporter assigned to Israel/Palestinian affairs. He issued a report this week that urges all countries to boycott companies that are in any way tied to or located in Judea and Samaria, in order to prevent further “settlement expansion.”
His call to boycott these companies is based on his biased and incorrect belief that Israeli settlements constitute occupation of the West Bank. He has always unabashedly taken the position that the West Bank belongs to the Palestinian settlers.
His report urged boycotts of 13 companies such as Caterpillar, Hewlett Packard, Volvo, and Motorola. In fact, it went even further than that. It threatened that the companies – and their employees – and others operating in the area could face criminal charges under international law.
Susan Rice, the US Ambassador to the UN, said that his report is “irresponsible and unacceptable” and that it represents his history of being “highly biased.” Falk has accused Israel of staging the 9/11 attacks. Rice went so far as to say that “His continued service in the role of a UN Special Reporter is deeply regrettable.”
The Canadian government, through Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird and Immigration Minister Jason Kenney, demanded Falk’s resignation. Mr. Kenney said, “Efforts to single out the only Jewish country in the world for particularly unfair treatment or to target it, sometimes becomes very worrisome as to what's behind this.”
Falk was appointed to his post by the UN Human Rights Council, a body that is openly anti-Semitic and one where Muslims are exerting pressure to change the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to bring it into conformity with Shariah law.
Men and nations may hate and rage against Israel, but the Bible says that a day is coming when “They shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.” (Jeremiah 3:17)
We can pray for that day to come soon as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Please pray with us for these, dear, chosen people of God and for their safety and preservation.

Suite aux commentaires de la précédente photo, je poste celle-ci. En effet si l'appareil y moins reconnaissable, par contre le regard et la posture de ma fille y sont plus photogéniques. On sent sa concentration, l'attente de l'instant décisif presque !!!!
