There were protestors at the entrance to the PrideFest location. Signs like this just indicate the ignorance of people...I just don't understand, I'm kind of glad I don't understand. One of the parade participants had a t-shirt on that read "Dear God, please save me from your followers"
PrideFest of Central Pennsylvania was held on July 26, 2008. The parade was so much fun! I'm a straight, liberal woman and I consider myself an activist for both animals and people. I'm also a Christian and people of all walks of life deserve kindness and compassion. Your sexual preference, male or femiale, isn't my business. Are you kind? Are you compassionate? Are you faithful, loyal and honest? Those are the things that tell me about a person.
The face of a repentative dog? He can still eat the crumbs under our table ...he is a good dog. Now I don't leave bags where he can get to them.
Always the lawyer, I have to say in his defense, he had to take meds for his fear of thunderstorms the day before, and there was no thunderstorm, so he was medicated and that could have added to his anxiety.

We need to repent our negative karma. Though we can eliminate many karmic obstacles by reciting Buddhist scriptures, we must not create new negative karma
after repenting. Only then can our blessings and wisdom
grow.

Y de repente el telón se cerró, las luces se apagaron y mi corazón pedía a gritos un respiro. Todo estaba sucediendo con demasiada rapidez. No había tiempo para más. Me sentía acorralada en mis propios sentimientos. Me sentía ahogada entre mis palabras. Incapaz de encontrar un remedio. Dolía. Dolía tanto que no era capaz de pronunciarme.
Y estaba apunto de renunciar a todo y a todos cuando alguien apoyó su mano en mi hombro. Me miró a los ojos como nunca antes nadie había hecho, secó mis torpes lágrimas y me susurró: "Tienes que renunciar a renunciar". Y sin saber porque algo dentro de mi hizo "click". Esa frase era la clave. Y yo la había sabido encajar. Todas mis ilusiones frustradas pasaron a ser deseos insaciables, mis ideas se convirtieron en posibilidades, mis sueños dormidos se despertaron, y todas mis metas se transformaron en una rutina más apetecible
