Proposed work includes:
1. Additional classroom - the existing facility caters for 46 children, the attendance is just more than the number of children catered for in the existing facility;
2. Repairs: the existing is in a relatively good condition, a door needs replacement, 4 locksets need replacing, a number of window panes need replacing, the apron requires repair.
3. Fencing - the facility is fenced, however, the area is insufficient, particularly if an additional classroom is required. It is proposed that the area is extended and that the fence is repaired where required.
4. Health & Safety: The centre also requires a fire extinguisher, first aid box, safety signage, and a fenced waste pit.
5. Toilet facility: The centre has 2 toilet facilities which are both in a relatively poor condition. It is proposed that the face brick facility is repaired and used as a teacher’s toilet, and a new small facility built for the learners, with a new disabled unit included.
6. A gutter downpipe is required.
7. Play equipment: The facility has play equipment. Some of this equipment is in need of repair. A new shade cloth covering for the play area is required.

This introductory workshop, led by Iku Nishikawa, was a beginners guide to Kintsugi. Iku used a few shortcuts to allow beginners to create a finished project, which took only a day to repair a damaged area plus a week of drying time.

Repairs needed for all 7 of these cheap "stained-glass" windows. Advice? The building is early 1930s so the windows probably are too. Can't go through another winter like this. The glass is extra thin and there are holes to the outside through every bit of lead. I think the windows are unsalvageable, apart from the frames.
I would like to replace the glass altogether, possibly reproducing this yellow since the yellow light that comes through is an important feature of the building and the yellow is important outside too.
