The original color-scheme of the Cessna T-37 was basically a bare-metal finish. The only color on the plane was the USAF insignia, the anti-nose glare and various warning labels. Thus the rather dull and boring gray color scheme in this rendering.
The swoosh-factor of this little model is awesome! The only time I ever saw these birds straight and level was when they were parked on the ramp. They were always in some sort of banking turn or steep climb or dive. Aside from the terror of learning to fly them, I bet they were an absolute joy to fly!

These are some quick renders I put together to test out the quality and dynamics of my face. 90% of the time my character will be furious during lip-sync, but as I said before I would like to use this character for projects outside of uni too.
I added a cheek 'bulge' and 'suck' to the face GUI so I can create more believable and funny expressions.
I'm still considering whether to hide the eyebrows, but I'll make a decision after animation when I play about a bit more with textures.
Hair texture is still very ugly and he will need to see a stylist ASAP!
