from Explore. The pic of my son poking his head through an otter head hole, with the private bits of the otter next to him pixelated has been removed from Explore in the infinite wisdom of Flickr reacting to the censorship issues involving our friends from Germany, Singapore, Korea and China. Ah well, so it goes...

As we look through the windows of our eyes, if we remove the filters that have been built up since we were baby's, we find that there is a lot more beauty and love out there than we though possible!

the meaning of 'bhuna'

an Indian dish or sauce in which spices are dry-roasted in a pan and then combined with a moistening agent such as yogurt or water.

the word 'bhuna' refers to the cooking method of this dish, and means 'to fry' or 'fried'. usually the spices are fried gently, before adding the meat.

originating in bengal, bhuna is a hot curry and doesn’t come swimming in sauce. it’s usually a thick sauce, with just enough to cling to the meat.

ps i'm not recommending any of these cookery adventures. they suit my personal taste. photographing to encourage myself to eat more healthily ...

i've created a group www.flickr.com/groups/cooking_is_my_hobby/ to gather ideas and encourage myself to continue with healthy eating by learning from others if you're interested in cooking, sometimes or a lot, or enjoy the cooking of others, you're always welcome ...

Cry piteously for food

I heard that its days were numbered. Many of the other buildings around it are devastatingly being torn down and rebuilt as ugly modern highrises. Condos, I assume. It was used as the outside shot for the place in the TV series “Friends” where Monica worked dressed ala 50’s style. I have some wonderful memories here, and am sad to see it’s been removed.

This image just reminded me of this saying somehow as the Gibbon slowly removed bits off the top of the grasses.

He loves me, he loves me not or She loves me, she loves me not (originally effeuiller la marguerite in French) is a game of French origin[citation needed], in which one person seeks to determine whether the object of their affection returns that affection.

A person playing the game alternately speaks the phrases "He (or she) loves me," and "He loves me not," while picking one petal off a flower (usually an oxeye daisy) for each phrase. The phrase they speak on picking off the last petal supposedly represents the truth between the object of their affection loving them or not. The player typically is motivated by attraction to the person they are speaking of while reciting the phrases. They may seek to reaffirm a pre-existing belief, or act out of whimsy.

In the original French version of the game, the petals do not simply indicate whether the object of the player's affection loves them, but to what extent: un peu or "a little", beaucoup or "a lot", passionnément or "passionately", à la folie or "to madness", or pas du tout or "not at all."

Message to Cleggon: Don't tamper with Democratic processes..NO to 55%

April 26 2010 : "It's now all becoming clear - the great plan of Nick Clegg's is becoming clear- he's only interested in one thing and that is changing our electoral system so that we have a permanent hung Parliament, we have a permanent coalition, we never have strong and decisive government."

A close-up capture of this new Geum in our garden. A hardy perennial, it flowers every year.

Geums are familiar favourites in herbaceous borders, although they also work well in larger rock gardens, developing into mounds of neat, dense foliage. They need a little space for their flowers, which tend to be produced on long, spreading stems.

Geum ‘Savanna Sunset’ is acompact clump-forming perennial to 45cm tall with hairy, mid-green toothed and lobed basal leaves. Reddish stems bear coppery-red flower buds that open to semi-double, lightly-frilled pale apricot flowers deeping to coppery apricot in the centre, from late spring to summer

I know that some people may not particularly like this ship, but I think it turned out really, really well. After all, this is Star Wars a ship that is entirely my design and very creative.

The pictures didn't turn out too well today - I was having a very hard time. Either way, pictures do not do this build justice.

Features:

* Opening cockpit

* Removable seat/controls and landing gear

* Spot for full minifig pilot and head of astromech droid

* Operating foils (little wings)

* Two gun turrets

* Opening cargo bay in rear

======================================================

I pulled inspiration from multiple areas, including an actual Star Wars gunship for the cockpit design and previous models I have built for the structure. The size/compactness of the ship was inspired by .Tromas!

This is the removable ghillie suit I promised everyone. It is a bit bulky though. I am going to have to figure out a way to fix that problem.

Removed the swirl and took out the extra pale blond hair, Jeans and white cowl top by me.
