"I pazzi sono i saggi e viceversa ormai.
Io so che incertezza uccide ogni ebrezza
che nasce in noi.
Il senso della vita, confuso ed umiliato,
si è perso oramai.
Tra i fili di un tessuto di riti e paure,
di rabbie e di preghiere.
Siamo, siamo, siamo, siamo vivi e dobbiamo
restarlo perchè:
programmare una vita in un giorno
vuol dire morire
quel giorno con te.
Ed io voglio
mai perdere nessuno e nessuno che perda mai me."

Ma so ricordarmelo "

I took the Phantom quadcopter up over my subdivison this evening. I'm pretty happy with the results, and can't wait to get this to more exciting locations.
Oh yeah, the outrageous buddy icon!
First of all, thanks to my friend Liz for making me try a bw portrait (she made me do it, it’s all her fault). Don’t worry, I’m still all colours.
And I’m really sorry that I’m not visiting you or answering your emails. I miss play at Flickrland but real life is being…so real.
I think there's something you should know
I think it's time I told you so
There's something deep inside of me
There's someone else I've got to be
Take back your picture in a frame
Take back your singing in the rain
I just hope you understand
Sometimes the clothes do not make the man…

Non credere mai a ciò che ti consiglia la notte, soprattutto se al mattino non sei ancora abbastanza lucida per ricordare l'origine di certi pensieri.

Necessito di candeggina.
"If you should go skating
On the thin ice of modern life
Dragging behind you the silent reproach
Of a million tear stained eyes
Don't be surprised, when a crack in the ice
Appears under your feet
You slip out of your depth and out of your mind
With your fear flowing out behind you
As you claw the thin ice."

I took a couple of photos (this one and "Pen To Paper") for this weeks Macro Monday's group but I'm not sure that either one is very good. 🤔 May try another photo tomorrow.

Day 129 - October 16th, 2007. Nothing like starting the day off by throwing up in the office in the middle of a conversation with your boss. No, I wasn't hung over. Anyway, today was pretty great! New bicycle = my love. Grey and Janessa and I went to slice of life for dinner and then came to my house and watched Rufus Wainwright music videos and the Andy Warhol/Edie Sedgwick film Poor Little Rich Girl.

Perchè forse è troppo volgare dire che gli s.....i sanno sempre camuffarsi bene.

These little Mercedes are in our mall this week and boy, do they catch the eye. Men especially, stop and look and also car-loving me. They are big enough for someone 4 years old or under to sit in and have MP 3, radio with 26 stations, leather seats, soft tires and seat belts. They're remote controlled and cost $350.
Don and I wondered where you could have your child drive them? It's hilly around here and they couldn't go in the street safely. BUT, they are absolutely beautiful in every detail.

As manufactured by the Best Company, San Leandro, California, around 1905. Some of these behemoths remain preserved, even operational. Best merged with the Holt Company (known for their tracked vehicles) in 1925, to become Caterpillar.
The Best traction engines are easyly recognized by their three-wheeled design and their upright boiler - the horizontal tank is a water container. Other than that, the design was pretty antiquated for its time, with no brakes, no gear shift, and a top speed of about 4mph.
The most prominent Best engine is "Old Dinah", purchased in 1894 for hauling borax through Death Valley. Today it can bee seen sitting at Furnace Creek, in a pretty desolate state.
Another preserved engine, the very one that inspired me to this build, is nicknamed "Susanpuffer" and can be seen in action here on youtube:
