Carlos is Jen Chandler's boyfriend. He rules. In fact he rules so much he can make remote controlled boats.

Here, she is towing a model of an old Uboat (modelled of a type VII called Dusty Bin) advertising the club
The smallest such device I've ever seen. There is a small light bulb on top which is not lit in this photo. I assume it's an LED. You can see one of the black propellers poking out the side near the left rear landing strut.

Of course after I drew this I ended up watching 'The Picture Book' on BBC4.
The yellow marks are courtesy of my daughter, who decided to join in the drawing using highlighter.
Just playing with the focus and such on my new camera. Oh, do I love this thing. The camera, that is. Not the remote. I have no opinion of the remote.
OK, story time. So a year (or maybe two) ago, I got some quite nice speakers, which have been dutifully producing sounds on behalf of my computer ever since. However, they were being driven by a 20 year old "AM/FM stereo receiver", which had some issues. For example, you couldn't adjust the bass while the speakers were active because it would make huge clicking noises (luckily I knew this and avoided subjecting my speakers to it). So, last week, I happened to be in Sydney visiting friends, and a Hi-Fi shop near their place had some gear on sale. Hence, I purchased a Cambridge Audio amp, which seems to sound better than my old one (no great surprise). This photo uses the amp's styrofoam packaging on the right as a reflector, with my SB-600 to the left. The "backdrop" is a protective bag the amp was in (inside its styrofoam padding), much nicer than the usual plastic used for this purpose.

A tiny Helicopter I bought from Ebay for $40, used for 3 days and then fried -_- Turns out there was nothing to stop it from charging the battery so much it melted! Live and learn.
It had a nasty tendency to go up till it hit the ceiling then fall all the way down. Didn't phase it tho.
Life is becoming so lazy; we are so used to these gadgets which make us comfortable with laziness.
"Select" life and not comforts, where you have only one to live in.
