EXPLORE Worthy - REMIX THIS PIX 23 (2020 Art)

One of my favourite areas of sky around Antares. Lots of colour in a interesting section of sky. This is an experiment with re-processing data with different methods. Stack of 4 12 minute exposures, Sigma 70-200 at 200, stopped down to f/4. This time stretching the data a bit more, also star reduction, but this time with the texture slider in Lightroom to further reduce the stars. What do people think? The colours here have mostly been enhanced by the stretch although I did modify the shades of yellow and blue a bit.

This is an alternate take on a photo I posted recently. With this version, I did not crop down to a more panoramic format. I also decided not to add any kind of toning. (I used a different "lens" in Hipstamatic as well.)
I cannot decide which version I like more. I kind of like the extra white space below Miska in this one and the pure black-and-white adds more in the way of austerity. Then again, the other version made it to Explore....
This is a shot that I had to process for an order. I figured that I would post it tonight instead of what I had planned to post.

The photo had already been so heavily textured and manipulated, I decided to manipulate the photo by cutting it up into peaces and adding a color overlay.
