This is a remake of the original by Cyrus. I truly love all his knowledge on photography. He is a brilliant man to help me in remakes. So to him I thank you!!!
Imagine taking 2023 bricks back to 1971
Once again, the supremely talented Jerry Builds Bricks is holding his classic remake competition. Here's my remake of the 1971 Ambulance set 600.
I wanted to build something that looks like it's from 1971, so channeled the Opel Record/Ford Taunus Euro-vibe.
A tiny sized Mamma-top/dress = big sized Helena top? ;) This is a maternity dress, size 36. Tight on top, loose on bottom, no surprise. The neckline was too small so I ripped open the seam and interfacing, then I sew a new line, larger, about 3 cm down on front, removing one button..
With the bigger neckline it is fitting better even on me of size 42.
I bought this at Reningsborg a few years ago but never wore it because it was too tight. Now I can wear it.

La passione
bucia e fa appassire presto.
abbandonarsi a lei

A remake of von Nebula was my idea fix for almost a year. Didn't want to change overall appearance wery much because he already looked cool as a set . And yeah, somehow he became a Toxic Reapa in terms of weapon :D.
And I made a new feature fon N. - body hump opens to reveal Da Sekret Weepahn.
Remake in 0.6 of Matt/Punkrock's SPW Apocalypse.
Damn it, this took some time. Betcha some of you thought I was going out without a fight, huh? Also, DAMN it feels good to be back.
I took some liberties with the design, due to the EP shading being impossible in 0.6, and the bipod costing too much time. Also no ammo chain because fuck black ammo shells in 0.6.
Group E, gents. IF YOU WANT ME TO GO ON TO THE NEXT ROUND, PLEASE COMMENT WITH +1! Thanks :-)

The extremely talented Jerry Builds Bricks came up with the wonderful idea of remaking classic LEGO sets last year and is running a 2021 season too.
For 2021 I chose the super-cute taxi set from 1971 - 50 years on, could I come up with a build that demonstrates both how much vehicle design has changed, as well as how sophisticated @lego has gotten?
The original set has just 17 pieces, no curves and is built 100% studs-up, proudly showing 32 of its total surface area of 40 studs, yet has wonderfully simple and elegant proportions. Onto my build, which has a few more pieces at around 130; how could an EV taxi look? I kept the colour scheme of the original set, including the wheels, but thought a mash-up of the original red, but with a nod to the checker graphics often seen on taxis. Of course the side graphics say TAXi, not TAXI as everything hi-tech has to have a lower-case i, right?
A different version of one of my most loved shots: my first explore =)
