Paulette Menton, who owns Mentor House Gallery in Paducah, Ky., displays an piece of acrylic paint art in her studio, Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006. Mentor moved from Washington state a few years ago after seeing a PBS feature on the Paducah's Artist Relocation Program. today in the wee hours of the morning i got to do a story on the wild turkey caputre and relocate program with the Quebec wildlife fish and game.
The whole process of caputing the turkeys is by a giant net that is shot over them this way they are not harmed.
They have been a problem with farmers for eating crops and feed, so they are caputured and released in different areas of Quebec
they lucky guys and gals are going to victoriaville and surrounding areas.
during the capture they are tagged and weight and also determined what sex they are.
21 turkeys were caught .
