One of the things that impressed me most as I travelled West to relocate from Michigan to Washington state was the sheer determination and amount of work required to carve highways from one side of the country to the other. From cutting through mountain ranges, to passing over massively large bodies of water, to tunneling under both—literally nothing stood in the way of American mobility.
Green River, Wyoming, was one of the few towns along the Union Pacific that existed before the railroad arrived. This twin tunnel doesn't actually go under the river, it cuts through a butte overlooking the river.
I'm getting caught up on old photos. This shot was taken outside Green River, Wyoming, on Monday, April 1, 2013.

Relocated Belleville Road Bridge. The historic Camelback pony truss was built in 1924 by the Mt. Vernon Bridge Company. It was originally located on Belleville Road over Belleville Lake in Wayne County, Michigan. It was relocated in 1995 to this location to replace the old Burroughs Street Bridge over the Flat River in Kent County, Michigan.

In 2018, MEC announced that it would open its first store in Saskatchewan. That first store will be located in the Midtown Plaza in downtown Saskatoon where the old food court was located.
To make way for the new store, the mall built a new feed court in the second level of what used to be the Sears store. Parts of the store have also been demolished.
It appears that the Tim Hortons location will stay put and remain where it is. Restaurants that didn't join the new food court include Koryo.
The new food court, called Midtown Common, officially opened on July 26, 2019.
A steely taste pervades the air as the room gets prepared for our relocation. In what used to be a wet-lab bench top, a runway strip of fine dust and condemned pipes lie. Apprehensively, members of the research group await for the D-day of transferring our ultrahigh vacuum chambers from the utopian basement to the conceptually forlorn third floor.

Relocated from the premises on Cnr North East Rd/Reservoir Rd intersection in February 2012 after the chain exited the actual electronics business when it was the rival to Jaycar.
This was following the receiver's sale with the announcement made on February 25, 2016 that all stores (301 in Australia and 62 in New Zealand) would be closing over the following eight weeks with sale starting the following day February 26.
These shots were taken in late April when stock was well down and shelves were being removed (for sale) leading up to closure to take place in the next few days. Notably Dick Smith branded TV's have been more difficult to sell with customers wary of warranty issues due to the retailer's demise. The Dick Smith online business has been bought by Ruslan Kogan and will be relaunched in June 2016.

Wildlife biologists relocate a nuisance bear in Westernport
When we came home from our road trip we found that two younger bunnies were living underneath the deck in our back yard. We didn't want the pups to hurt them, so we caught them both and relocated them. They were so adorable!
A chance for a colorful shot at Central State Hospital. Here sits the Binion Building which housed the criminally insane. It has recently been vacated and has a "We Moved" sign prominently displayed in its front lawn and now sits abandoned like many of the other buildings found on this complex.
The depot, built around 1918, was originally located in Elberta. From the depot, produce, mostly peaches were loaded on trains and shipped to markets. The depot was moved from its original location to the county fairgrounds where it sat for several years. The building was relocated again, to the county Historical museum, and in 2013 was poised to be restored.
