Marseille, a port city in the south of France, has been a crossroads of trade and immigration since it was founded by the Greeks around 600 BC. In its heart is the Old Port where fishermen sell their catches on the pier lined with boats. The basilica Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde is a Romanesque church of Byzantine inspiration. Modern buildings include the Radiant City, a housing unit designed by Le Corbusier and the CMA CGM Tower by Zaha Hadid.

These moslim girls were praying in Istanbul's biggest and well preserved Church- Saint Antoine. I do myself believe in Humanity itself, prior to cultures, religions and national borders . This photo somehow reflects the aproach I desire humanity would chase after.

What did I learn? Firstly and most importantly, I learned how small my own knowledge is and that it is a very weak foundation for pronouncing judgement. Knowledge is composite and ever-changing. Over one thousand scholars wrote articles for this dictionary. Secondly, I learned that scholarship can only deal with the human factor in religion, from psychology to sociology, history and textual criticism. Thirdly, one learns about the power of words. Words can project you into heaven or hell - and religious texts have done so and continue to do so. Fourthly, I haven't got any wiser as to the divine. I am as ignorant as before - with perhaps the proviso that I am now much more critical of any statement claiming divine authority. Sorry folks, scholarship does not deliver the "truth", but what it does is clearing away a lot of debris that obstructs our view.

------------------------------ JESUS ✝️ SAVES-------------------------------

SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS ALONE!

❤️❤️ IT'S ALL JESUS AND NONE OF OURSELVES! ❤️❤️

1. Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2. BY THIS GOSPEL YOU ARE SAVED, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

3. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Corinthians 15:1-11)

7. Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9. I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10. The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!

So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus died that death for YOU and I. The good news is there no more punishment for sin left, we were and are all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Hagia Sophia, built in 537 AD in Istanbul, was originally a Byzantine cathedral and the world’s largest for nearly a thousand years. After the Ottoman conquest in 1453, it was converted into a mosque by Sultan Mehmed II. In 1935, it became a museum under the Turkish Republic, symbolizing secularism. In 2020, it was reconverted into a mosque. Hagia Sophia is a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its stunning architecture and rich, complex history.

Some churches of different religions and beliefs at the poor community Santa Marta.

This is a very poor community (or Favela, in Portuguese) called Santa Marta, on the mount Dona Marta. For many years it was devastated by the violence caused by the organized crime, specially because of the drug traffic. I could never imagine myself entering there, but, since November 2008, its permanently occupied by the police and, since this date, the inhabitants are free of the violence. Them, I could walk all the place without problem (well, almost...), but, in general, was everything very well, even I'm being with a bit of fear...

The Parish Church of Santa María is situated in Plaza de España the historic centre of Alcoy, Built in the 18th century, its origins date back to the 1200s. The neoclassical style façade features columns and pilasters, with two symmetrical bell towers A large central rose window allows natural light to enter. A central dome over the transept, side chapels between the buttresses and sober decoration are typical of the neoclassical period. The high altarpiece is dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The church suffered major damage during the Spanish Civil War and had to be partially rebuilt. It is one of the most significant religious buildings in Alcoy and is still the centre of many religious and cultural celebrations in the city, including the famous Moors and Christians festivities.

This is a blue hour shot of the "Roussanou" monastery at the "Meteora" monastery complex in Kalampaka, Greece.

I shot the monastery on the rock a few minutes after the sunset, and then waited for the sky to get dark and for a car to pass by the road so I can record some car trails. After a lot of waiting and misses ( a car crossing from the other direction at the same time highlighting everything with its bright white headlights ) I finally captured the so desired car light trails and it was time to photoshop blend the two exposures. This is the result!
