Not feeling too great, so I'm going to go do the same. Will catch up over the weekend!
A relaxing evening at home... A quilt, a warm puppy (ok, she's not a puppy), and a tablet full of games.
This was taken by Big Stone City, SD on my husband's farm. It is a familiar scene, cattle laying out in the pasture soaking up some sun. Growing up, my Mom would point out all of the pastures we would pass while riding in the car.

Azizullah's grandfather (pictured here) studied at UW during the 1950s, coming from Afghanistan. Azizullah wrote, "Spending time with boys playing rugby. It is very relaxing as the field is big and green. There is always time to recharge yourself before going back to class. Life is too short to just focus on studies, engage with the local society through joining events and social activity. It will make you realize that friendship is beyond boundaries and there so much to learn of different cultures."
A view inside a punk concert.
When I was younger, I absolutely loved going to punk concerts. Now that I'm a bit older, I still absolutely love going to them, but for a different reason. They are one of the best, most challenging subjects to photograph. Not only is there awful lighting, but there is also a ton of movement. It's a lovely challenge. Last night I decided to take a break from the stress that my life has become (have you noticed my Flickr inactivity?) to go to a concert. It was awesome.
In this photo, I was trying to capture the motion of the circle pit while keeping the band on stage ( Flatfoot 56) clear.
