Found this handsome bull moose, during a drizzly rain event, just relaxing on the soggy ground within the canopy of trees. There's something special to me about wildlife (including birds too) when they're wet ... brings out the colors and the details in their fur (or feathers). This guy couldn't have cared less either. LOL.

We had a snowy yesterday and now a single digit morning ... perfect for digging into the archives and getting some processing started.

at the mountain flims, lake Caumasee, Switzerland...

Nu een week op vakantie op Texel en daar voor het eerst zwarte konijnen gezien. Op de waddeneilanden Texel, Vlieland en Schiermonnikoog komt dit vaker voor dan op het vasteland. Dit komt waarschijnlijk omdat er op deze eilanden geen roofdieren als de vos en de bunzing leven.

On the way back from Rontscher Berg (2.732 m / 8.196 ft) and Peilstein (2.542 m / 7.626 ft), I took time to relax at Marschnellalm (2.212 m / 6.636 ft) at late afternoon and enjoyed the view to the mountains of Ultental.
