Great Blue Heron at the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch, Gilbert, Arizona

These four contestants didn't make the final of "Dancing with the Birds".

A Peacock, Grey Heron and two Muscovy Ducks looking rather dejected! Better luck next year guys!

Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment or fav my images.

An abandoned house I found on a drive a couple of days ago.

captured in the abandoned Cavern of Lost Souls. (UK, 2015)

On my last photo trip I visited a lot of beautiful places in the United Kingdom but the Cavern of Lost Souls was the by far most intense and awesome place to see.

Used as a dumpster for unused vehicle for many years, this cavern became the most impressive lost place I have seen by now. Finally standing there and enjoying this one of a kind location made all the efforts for planning, the costs to get there and the high risk by navigating through the tunnel system and free climbing a 30 meters drop down in the pitch black totally worth. A view never to forget and an exploration I loved very much.

HMAM 😊😊😍

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

This old dead tree was full of birds today, and it **is** a favorite of the Acorn Woodpeckers. But this guy seemed to toss this one off as a reject.

If you take a closer look, you may notice they tested with smartphones too!

Just enjoyed a trip to Maui's upcountry area to explore the Kula Botanical Gardens. Saw a variety of animals from from koi fish, to the cute little rosy-faced lovedbird who is at the center of my collage to the ever so stealth Jackson's chameleon whom we almost missed. As you'd imagine the flowers and plants were amazing. Found the pincushions of all colors (yellow and orange one included above) to be so vibrant as was the pink and blue aechmea cylindrata. Would highly recommend a visit to this scenic garden in a beautiful, tropical setting.

Blimey, my face has turned a startling red colour from the post production.

A reject from Smile on Saturday's #pawn theme of last week

This eagle tried 3-4 times to swallow this skeletal portion of the head but couldn't get it to go down and finally spit it out. You might be able to see the eyeballs still attached to the carcass. It did eat the rest of this kokanee.

Thanks for visiting!

It isn't often that a catch gets a reprieve so late in the game but the gulf menhaden seen beneath the Brown Pelican's left wing will have quite a story to tell when it gets back to its school on Armand Bayou.

Rialto Bridge, Venice

captured in the abandoned Hotel Belle Époque in Austria. (2014)

Daisies photographed in street side florist's stall. Main purpose of the shot was to try out Fuji Classic Chrome simulation. I took a few shots there and this was the first. I was a little surprised at the colour saturation and general punchiness. I had expected something more subtle. The others in the series are more restrained and I will post some shortly.

Image was straight out of camera except for minor PS tweaking. I selected the out of camera option for colour in PS, rejecting the PS tweaking for this.

I would welcome comments about the colours and classic chrome.

Thank you for stopping by! I appreciate it.

There are a lot of photos from my California trip last month that are in rejected folder for various reasons. This is one of them that went through heavily postprocess just for my amusement :)
