I'm thinkin' I gotta mix it up a bit going forward here - been posting alot of deer photos.
But this young gentleman visited my backyard yesterday and I was taken with him. A yearling Whitetail Deer buck - you can see his "nubs" on the top of his head. The thing that makes him stand out and the thing that “endeered” him to me, is that he has a floppy left ear. He does seem to have some control of it sometimes, but most of the time it is flopped over where it is not supposed to be. Not sure if it is due to an injury or if it was always that way. Hoping he finds his way and does not get teased about it and passed over in picking teams for reindeer games.

It’s that time of year where merriness is upon us and we are being Hey-Ho!
All cheery we get in the old pickup truck and travel down the snow-covered country road hitting bumps and twinkling snowbanks along the way. Our mission on this windswept night is to find that perfect Christmas Tree for the Family Homecoming Night!
And if you need to find any other Christmas décor or gifts, the best place yet is to visit the 9th Annual SL Christmas Expo 2019 where sim after sim is full of wonders, delights and posing spots! There will be auctions, raffles, gachas, entertainment and photo opportunities to get your picture taken with dear ol’ Saint Nick himself!

This was going to be my photo of the day, but I decided on the self portrait instead. There's enough cats in my 365! Last time I looked I think it was about one third feline...
Derpette and Gesundheit wanted to enjoy the sunshine and outside fun before the storm comes in this week!!! A little friend joined in on the Reindeer games :D

Col. William L. Depue Jr. works with his battalion’s team to complete squad pushups Dec. 16 during the Camp Commander’s Jingle Bell Challenge aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The squad pushups were one of the stages to the elf tryouts, which also consisted of pullups and ammunition can lifts.
