I've returned into the most beautiful, warm and sunny autumn.
I love the harvest time if everyone is busy in the wineyards, and fruit gathering is in full swing.
A soft autumn wind blows the nuts from the trees and flocks of starlings are around.
A wonderful time for hiking during this colourful autumn.

Ich bin zurückgekehrt in den schönsten, sonnigen Herbst in meiner Gegend. Ich liebe die Erntezeit, wenn die Winzer in den Weinbergen beschäftigt sind und die Obsternte in vollem Gange ist. Selbst ein leichter Herbstwind weht die reifen Nüsse von den Bäumen und Starenschwärme ziehen umher.
Eine fröhliche Jahreszeit.
Es ist besonders schön, durch diesen bunten Herbst zu wandern und hier und da ein Schwätzchen mit den Weinbauern zu halten..

Mispeln oder türkisch "Mutschmallah" ausgesprochen, reifen zweimal im Jahr und schmecken ähnlich wie Pflaumen.
Meist sehen sie schnell unansehnlich aus.
Überall stehen Bäume, dicht behangen mit diesen orangefarbenen Früchten.
I only found out about this place when I looked out if there was anything interesting on my route during a day trip.
Lo and behold, this was shown to me and I was interested enough to stop here.
Now a little quiz question for you. What is so special about this landscape in Tuscany?
Basically it doesn't look much different here than in the whole area. Green fields cover rolling hills, here and there one of the typical farmhouses stands and cypresses grow along the roads and paths.
Now the solution for everyone (probably not many anymore) who didn't recognize it themselves.
This is one of the original filming locations from the famous 2000 movie Gladiator.
Here you can see the path that leads to the house of the protagonist Maximus.
In the film, however, the hills are covered in corn and the protagonist (Russel Crowe) dismounts his horse and wanders through the fields, gently running a hand over ripe corn.
At least for me, who loves this film, that definitely makes this place special.
Von diesem Ort habe ich erst erfahren, als ich mich bei einer Tagestour darüber informiert habe, ob irgend etwas interessantes auf meiner Strecke liegt.
Und siehe da, mir wurde das hier angezeigt und ich war interessiert genug hier auch Halt zu machen.
Nun eine kleine Quizfrage, an Euch. Was ist an dieser Landschaft in der Toskana so besonders ?
Im Grund sieht es hier ja nicht viel anders aus, als in der ganzen Gegend. Grüne Felder bedecken sanfte Hügel, hier und da steht eins der typischen Farmhäuser und an den Strassen und Wegen wachsen Zypressen.
Nun die Auflösung für alle (sind wahrscheinlich nicht mehr viele) die es nicht selbst erkannt haben.
Dies ist einer der Originaldrehorte aus dem berühtem Film Gladiator aus dem Jahr 2000.
Man sieht hier den Weg, der zum Haus des Protagonisten Maximus führt.
Im Film sind die Hügel allerdings mit Getreide bedeckt und der Hauptdarsteller (Russel Crowe) steigt vom Pferd und wandert durch die Felder, während er eine Hand sanft über reifen Ähren gleiten lässt.
Zumindest für mich, der diesen Film liebt, macht das diesen Ort definitiv zu einem Besonderen.

Yippie – I'm back home! And still I do not look back on the beautiful holidays with a bleeding heart. And what can I say, the fruits are red and ripe ;-) and there is a lot to do – not only with the ripe fruits ... But when I looked for a short moment after the topic for today's Macro Monday, I could not resist and had to take a picture first ;-)

Jippieh – ich bin wieder zu Hause! Und noch blicke ich nicht mit blutendem Herzens zurück auf die schönen Urlaubstage. Und was soll ich sagen, die Früchte sind rot und reif ;-) und jede Menge zu tun – nicht nur mit den reifen Früchtchen ... Aber als ich kurz nach dem Thema für den heutigen Makro Monday geguckt habe, konnte ich nicht widerstehen und musste erst einmal fotografieren ;-)

Not only we like to be seduced by sweet fruits – flies of all kinds are also magically attracted ... Hopefully they leave us something – these blackberries still have to ripen a bit until they are deep red to black. There were already some to eat ;-) This year it's so warm that unfortunately many are drying up ...

Prunus dulcis ‚Dürkheimer Krachmandel‘ – Echte Mandel
Die Dürkheimer "Krachmandel" ist die typische "alte Mandelsorte" in meiner Region
Die Dürkheimer Krachmandel gehört zu den Sorten, die große, weichschalige Früchte trägt. Dadurch kann man sie ohne Probleme mit der Hand öffnen. Sie reifen von Ende September bis Mitte Oktober. Die Kerne haben eine graubraune Haut und schmecken würzig und süß.

The Dürkheimer Krachmandel is one of the varieties that bears large, soft-shelled fruits. This means you can open it by hand without any problems. They ripen from late September to mid-October. The kernels have a gray-brown skin and taste spicy and sweet.
🇫🇷...../ Le revers plus discret est doté d'ocelles, qui imitent les yeux de plusieurs oiseaux, destinés à effrayer les prédateurs. La chenille, quant à elle, dégage une odeur assez repoussante. Il peut vivre jusqu'à deux mois, et se nourrit principalement de jus de fruits mûrs. Il survole les cours d'eau où il a la place de voler librement et où il évite un maximum les prédateurs. C'est l'un des plus grands papillons existants avec 12 à 20 cm d'envergure.

È una delle farfalle più grandi esistenti, con un'apertura alare che va dai 12 ai 20 cm.

I got this car from my father, It's a wonderful car but my sample looks a little bit used :-)
Because of I gave my old camera my brother I didn't have a macro lens so I was a little bit creativ and made me a macro lens with my 2x teleconverter and my 24-70 tamron lens. So I used 140mm to take this picture after that I croped a little bit inside :-)

Reifenplatzer, oder Fertigungsfehler als mögliche Ursache...?
Auch Fertigungsfehler des Reifenherstellers haben schon zu Reifenplatzern und sogar zu Unfällen geführt.
So musste Bridgestone den größten Reifenrückruf der Geschichte hinnehmen und rund 6,5 Millionen auch unter seiner Zweitmarke Firestone, zurücknehmen und austauschen.
Auch eine defekte Felge kann für einen Reifenplatzer verantwortlich sein.
Ganz allgemein lässt sich sagen, ein Reifen platzt, wenn er in seiner Grundfestigung zerstört wird.
Ich hoffe das die Insassen nix passiert ist.
