In Western Australia they call nature strips 'verges'. I find this quite amusing. They have a scheme where you can register your verge, which means that no one is allowed to park on it - not even you. I find that even more amusing. (Those crazy Western Australians!) Then they erect this nifty little sign. Lyall had already told me about this, but I didn't fully believe it until we were out walking on my first night in Perth and I saw this sign for myself. I just had to take a picture.
