In July 2015, on a sunny summer day, I captured a moment in Aarhus where children were playing in the fountains on the market square, trying to cool off. At the time, the city was gearing up to become the European Capital of Culture for 2017. Two years later, Aarhus officially held the title, along with Pafos, Cyprus. Under the theme “Let’s Rethink,” the city hosted over 400 cultural events, ranging from art and music to urban development and sustainability, leaving a lasting impact on the city and its community - Aarhus, Denmark
