Photographed along the shore of Jenny Lake...Grand Teton National Park...This Midwestern summer heat is enough to make anyone weary....but at least I still have hundreds of images from our last trip to process, which will help keep me refreshed, if only in my mind :-) Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend...stay cool & have fun!!!!

It's the first day back in office, Actually I need a "fresh shower" before starting to deal with all the mails :-(
I wanted to post my holiday pictures according to the date and trip itinerary but now I decide just to choose one of them according to my mood.

As the previous owners had this tiny room painted a very deep charcoal grey it took many undercoats before our preferred light aqua colour could be applied. The hue looks more green or more blue depending on lighting.

Evie on the beach this afternoon, she made full use of the sea bathing facility as you can see! (also photo on comments).
I paddled to my hearts content too, so good on a very hot day, we shared an ice cream too. I took a flask of water each for us to keep hydrated.

I find Swans (Cygnus) always gracious and a delight to observe. Preening, feeding or flying. But when another bird crosses its path and they give chase, that's when their strength and power becomes apparent.

Locomotive 44 158 is one of the latest to be transferred from class 45 to 44 with different gearing for fast train service. In its smart new livery, the loco is hauling fast train 7621 Vidin - Sofia through the Iskar river gorge.
I have so many fizzy drinks on holiday, even though I don't drink any at home! Dang, totally forgot to take a photo of an Inca Kola bottle. Mm...
It's my birthday today so as a treat I thought I would bring back some happy memories with one of my favourite flowers the magical bluebell ...... as I escape into dreamland for a little while :) :) :)
