I like the fresh smell after I sharpen a pencil.... my favorate no.2 yellow school pencile. After a couple of messy weeks, I've got back to normal and get ready to finish and polish my work.

I took about 200 photos in this shoot, all of virtually the same thing...the water being poured into more water. A few variations, mind you: there were some different bowls/glasses I used, a couple of different methods of pouring the water, some different angles. Honestly, though, it was probably a 1:25 ratio of interesting pictures to bad ones....this happened to be one of my favorites overall.
Back on the road again ... from Kandy we went up into the hills, to the tea-growing area of Nuwara Eliya. It became cooler (but not cold!) and we passed field upon field of Camellia plants (tea).

did as best as I could, clouded on her right... but yellowing is deep inside, and I didn't want to pull out the chip...
Some auction referred to a "fused" chip with the eyeball... is that what her right one is?
(have left hard skull plate off for now in case I have to open her up, so gap is showing...)
